I dont know about you, but I’ve been pumped for a potential reboot of the Cheers Cinematic Universe (CCU) for quite some time! The CCU brand has so many rich characters, deep lore, and cross-media potential!

She’s huge among teens and recently an emerging advocate for Endometriosis awareness. She apparently was pressured into performing a major gig the same night as a miscarriage. I think the point of this SNL, as a career move, was to break that next wall into older generations’ awareness.

Looking at the history of similar properties like Spider Man does not make me optimistic. Unless it’s a direct continuation, it will likely be re-cast entirely.

One problem with reboots is they tend to divorce the rebooted property from the director that originally made them. Marvel has made execs think directors are interchangable guns-for-hire like they were before the ‘70s, and it leads to weird hybrids like... the last ghostbusters reboot.

Really? We’re *that* excited for this film? MNS has made -at tops -4 good movies, but only one of those was made in the past 15 years. Yes, he’s revisiting 2 of his good movies to make another, but are we already “there” with believing he’ll score with Glass? I feel the jury’s still out.. he’s got to make at least 2…

I was about to say - I am just barely old enough to appreciate the consistency of affordable cars today. I have to rent cars a LOT, so it’s comforting I’ll get AC, heat, reasonable life expectancy, even power windows are nice and standard.
