I hate it when I have to watch a commercial before I watch a commercial. There should be a law!

My girlfriend has totally netflix-cheated on me and taken off four or five episodes ahead of me on Game of Thrones. I now come home with a friend and have to say, "oh, sorry, she's watching her show", and I shunter off to another room, king's pronouncements and sword clashing echoing behind me in shame.

I thought you wrote an article a while back saying there was no need for a gym, just free weights at your own home?

Occam's razor.

Your comment and mine are not even distantly related

A woman used this phrase to me at work, " don't Jew me like that" in reference to how I kept a buck of change as a fee for picking up her lunch, jokingly. Thing is, she's a Jew, I'm not, and I felt weird, and the second she saw the look of discomfort she laughed at me. She's also a good twenty years older.

I'd add Fifth Element to this list. Amazing costumes, effects, blonde Bruce Willis and naked Milla Jovovich, but what a stupid plot and terrible acting. Even wastes Chris Tucker.

I think equality rocks!

Hah!

Immensely preferable to Reese Witherspoon

Uh, shut up, this is great stuff! And I was all ready to be cynical.

I really want to play Silent Service now

SO, as a cyclist who bikes to work from Brooklyn to Manhattan everyday, encountering plenty of lights and traffic and doors and bridges, I'm getting the feeling this is not recommended? I'd say about 15% of my total ride time is waiting for lights, approxamatley 4 lights per 5 miles ridden. Any feedback appreciated.

Sound design sucks if it's accurate, that's not its purpose. Sound design is to guide the user's attention to actions that serve the plot. That's it. That's the only reason it's there. You're not watching a documentary. You're hearing a series of audible cues that reinforce to your limited attention span what is

In fact I don't remember what's Xbox even is

In fact I dont even know my own name anymore.

I think the comments here are a huge step forward for the Kotaku readership. I really think that if this same article was posted 2 years ago it would have been met with a lot of negativity, for a number of reasons. Sexism, purism, all sorts of nonsense.

You know, as far as keying goes, this actually looks kinda cool. Most keying involves long veering lines that look way more terrible. This almost looks like a design feature.

Hey If Beyonce can get these Americans to turn off the TV and kick their kids outside, she's a fucking national hero.
