I understad your desire to promote something overlooked, and I respect it. But there are rare instances where popularity and quality co-exist, and MM2 is one such instance. I'm not sure why this is so quotable, it's actually poorly articulated. If I wanted to make an argument about games' value, I'd prefer Newell's quotes on the topic. They are succinct, make sense, and aren't spoiled by an angry tone that will turn off your detractors.

It's not "pretty good". Winning the lottery is "pretty good", Mega Man 2 music is f-ing phenomenal and no 8bit music discussion is complete without a few examples.
