Apparently, "it's" also pretty good at mazes.

I think this looks amazingly fun, but I wonder how easy it would be to nearly burst your eardrums while changing depth so much. Even after 6-7 feet, most people will feel immense pressure in their ears, 10 feet or more and you're gonna feel like your head is in a vice grip.
I'm pretty sure if half a dozen comments saying you can't get the bends while free-diving don't work on "Denver is on the down low", a half dozen more won't help either. He/she gets it. Please stop.
The thing is, a day of lost work is worth more than $700 for myself. Some of us are better off trading our time for some other kind of work, then trading the results of that for something that's 100x nicer than whatever I could build.
I'm not sure what's worse..
You really can't see the difference? When's the last time you had a visit with your local optometrist? There's so much noise in the iPad 2 shots, they could be mistaken for pictures I took with my Mickey Mouse camera from '95.
The video gets down compressed so much in order to keep frame rates high, that a higher quality camera wouldn't make much of a difference. Even though a lot of people have 6 Mbps and higher download speeds at home, most connections can't upload much faster than 1-2 Mbps. By the time the 4th gen iPad is released, LTE…
When people actually start buying them, then we can start advising against it ;)
So I have a new iPad being delivered by 3:00 PM on Friday, and I'm seriously considering driving to the longest line I can find and announcing that the first person to bring me $1000 in cash can go home with it and get on with their lives. With the profit from that, and sale of my current iPad 2, I'll be able to score…
Does it just kill you that people feel joy in this world? Who cares if people get excited over an iPad, if you try hard enough, anything can be made to look like a waste of time. Hell, 80 years from now, everyone reading this tonight will be dead and rotting in the ground. Even if you managed to leave a lasting…
I used to be a huge GM fan. A few years ago, I literally shuddered every time I saw an ad for any Ford product. But in today's world, I wouldn't even consider an automobile from The General, and Ford would be my first choice if I was stupid enough to buy from a domestic car company.
Good God I'm so sick of these comments...
I think that all the time when I see terrible products or ideas. Any dimwit with more brain cells than fingers would have killed them right after seeing the first sketch.
I just looked into it, and apparently they announced pre-orders for the 4 right after Apple announced the 4S. As closely as I follow all of this stuff, I'm still surprised I don't remember reading about that.
Windows? That one product from that company that combined with Google is still billions upon billions away from being worth as much as Apple?
Apple has access to both the A5X and Tegra 3. Nvidia doesn't. Who do you think is in a better position to compare the two?
Wow, I didn't know that. I was so sure you were wrong, I actually went to Sprint's website just to check. Sure enough, they sell a $99 iPhone 4.
I've heard that too (and believe it), but I always figured it actually made more sense for Apple to go with a GSM carrier in the beginning. By going with GSM over CDMA, they made a phone that was compatible with more networks throughout the world. There's only two major GSM networks in the states, and AT&T is a lot…
There's one reason iOS share dropped so much in the smartphone market. Carrier exclusivity. In the U.S., the iPhone has only been available on more than one carrier for 1.5 years. The fact it sold so many while only being available on AT&T, which happens to be the lowest ranked carrier in the country, is nothing short…
Seriously. I hate to be a spelling/grammar Nazi, but in the last few months I've noticed glaring spelling mistakes in at least half of the posts on Gizmodo. It's getting to the point where I'm almost expecting mistakes.
