It’s all about context I guess.
It’s all about context I guess.
now that i think about it i did ride through there in the last decade on my motorcycle with my vacation wife on the back. she said she had never had her ass pounded so hard in her life. the roads there were pretty damn bad.
I appreciate you calling out the “Corporate Social Responsibility” for what it actually is. I’m always amazed at the people who are so easily fooled by virtue signaling. Yes, obviously it’s better than nothing. But it’s just advertising.
Given that the local Ford dealer only has the EcoSport for Focus prices and the Focus sold reasonably well, I think it’d do okay, especially if they glued some black plastic to the bottom and called it the “Focus CrossX” or whatever.
Agreed that the 25-year rule should be abolished. It’s so dumb.
Disagreed on selling only one. Sure, they wouldn’t sell many, but literally ford has 1 car for sale. 1. And it’s a Mustang, which isn’t the most practical car.
I agree that the MK5 really brought the original GTI flavor back. You must be mistaken though, because the MK5 introduced the 2.0T FSI engine, which in 2009 became the TSI. The 1.8T was ONLY in the MK4 GTI, and it made respectable amount of power in stock form, like in the GTI 337 edition and Audi TT. The 1.8T in the…
The only limitation is money. I could import a brand new Lada Niva which costs the equivalent of about €11.000 in ruble in Russia, but because it’s essentially a 1980s car with a 1990s engine with a catalytic converter crudely tacked on, as a deterrent to buying polluting car it costs €40.000 in my country.
Corvettes…
Look what they’ve done to my premium Italian brand, ma. They don't do what they could do all right, and it's turned out all wrong, ma
Heated seats are great for a middle age back. Don’t have a heated wheel but the seats warm up way faster than the HVAC so I tend to use them more, plus I'm an open sunroof in winter person so the seats are nice for that too.
In the winter medium heat is set on windshield and floor only as dash dries my eyes out
What if I want to be very cold? Or very hot? Maybe I want my feet to be warmer than the rest of my body?
This definitely looks like a solution in search of a problem.
I have “automatic” climate control, but I never use it. I use three settings - arctic blast if the outside temp is above 75°F outside, heat if it’s below 50°, and off for in between. Oh, and defrost/defog.
It would be better if it asked, “How do you feel…
Never got the appeal of the vehicle climate system. I’ve had it in a few and never saw the point.
E38 is classy AF
yep i once owned an 86 MR-2 and miss the days of such light cars. But these days sub 3000lb is light. And a 2dr GTI with a stage 2 makes 330-350hp and at that weight is a complete blast
Or just make a better game?
Again, agree. I love American muscle cars, the looks, the noise, the power.
In the pantheon of “people who weren’t the saints we thought they were” I’m not sure if Paul Walker would rank up there with the (literal saint) Mother Teresa’s of history…
I had a 2dr 2016 GTI manual and stock its 2980 but with spare/jack removed and the light wheels/tires i had it was just over 2900lbs. its hard to find a car that light these days especially one easily capable of making 300-4000hp with just a few slight mods
I wish they would put the modern day Camaro’s drivetrain into some design that wasn’t a rehash of a retro design with no imagination at all (and then followed up with a refresh of the same that proved they’d run out of ideas). Also make it possible to see out of if you’re even above average height. Performance…
