Airplane services don’t strike me as the forgetful sort to be honest.

That goes for a lot of older cars though. Specially ones with sporting ambitions and/or great engines. Electrify something like a CRX Si or an Integra and you’ve literally destroyed everything that made the car any good by making it heavy and removing the glorious engine. Any 60's Chrysler HEMI product will turn “meh”…
It’s not “a thing” yet. Unless this kit is less than $8.000 (4x the cost of a complete brand new replacement 350 with equivalent power) it will be another novelty we’ll never see outside of a car show.
They’re a lot faster than that downhill. Weight even helps out with the top speed!
Neoplan double deckers is where it’s at tbh.
Incredibly some still make cool buses!
I applaud you as a dad of 2 kids myself.
Why would anyone do that to a 2nd gen? The only viable way to use that back seat is sitting sideways in the first place.
Let’s not forget that some company made monsters like these out of Dodge vans and I don’t think they tackled the other manufacturers vans.
Just wait until the injectors let go. You can add another 50% to that bill even on a 4-cyl. Oh, and they always let go within a few miles of the warranty’s expiration mileage.
Over here in Europe another E-series vehicle were delivered similarly for commercial purposes (Hearses and amublances):
I guess I’ve only seen the statements from Ivanka where she speaks up against it, hence my confusion. That said there are few people in the world I care less about than those two so I may not be fully updated on their day to day work.
Are you another one of those people who will drag politics into any discussion no matter how unrelated they are? I dislike the orange one as much as anyone, but what’s the relevance here? Haven’t both of them been reasonably vocal against antisemitism too?
Not easy/fast on most cars tbh. Ever had the pleasure of doing a heater core on a Fox body? Oof. The main issue being that the main wiring harness for pretty much every from the firewall and back is clipped to the dash itself rather than the firewall, most wires have single connectors instead of the modern multi plug…
A truly forgettable present. They’ll all be gone or broken the day after receival.
Sacha Baron Cohen is of Jewish decent himself, isn’t he?
9/10 the heater core is a bitch to replace, but it’s one of the easiest jobs I’ve ever done on my friend’s BMW E46.
If the fan clutch goes doesn’t it just usually go into “locked on”-mode anyway?
If it’s just run by an accessory belt I agree. A lot of them are run by the timing belt though, which is usually a job you don’t want to be doing too often and certainly not a an item you want breaking as it’d basically turn the whole engine into junk when it does. They’ll usually last a longer than a timing belt, but…
Japanese cars are the only cars I’ve worked on where I can actually beat the book time for most cars doing it at home. Actually a couple of French ones too, but their book times are insane anyway.
