Well, people have been making tunnels for thousands of years already. If you want to improve on the concept you’re gonna have to come up with new equipment. It’s a tall order to come up with new ways to use outdated equipment like Musk is trying to do.

Funny how all the people speaking up for his tunnels and specifically mentioning this project as the saving grace of the Boring Company are all quiet now.

Replacing the rear brake dust shield on my W124.

Very cool engine to play with, but I do prefer staying brand loyal when it comes to swaps.

Car design really only got good in the 30's. Before that it was mostly function follows form, which can be fun its own way, but by the 30's things changed. That’s when car design started becoming important and coach builders really flourished.

All about choosing the right car my friend.

I play a lot of Fivem, which is GTA roleplay for the uninitiated, I gotta say I agree. Immersion is even more important in an RP setting and having real cars in GTA V traffic makes very little sense.

These cars are incredibly valuable these days and the bubble is still increasing, so the lack of modifications don’t surprise me if I’m honest. Looks like they just wrapped a stock car in roughly the same colors. That’s probably a cookie cutter Guards Red Euro spec 930 underneath (Front side markers/extended turn

They’ve only reduced the cost by skipping a whole of the steps in making an operational and safe tunnel. Where are the emergency exit tunnels? The emergency ventilation? Those are two basic features a tunnel needs to be serviceable and I’m sure someone with more experience in the field can add a whole lot more to that

A tunnel with no air, huh? And I’m gonna drive in there voluntarily, yeah?

I thought they just made the BMWs remote controlled and/or cut them in half?

There may not be room for more than a tiny one. I probably should have been using a bigger one, or even a spanner. Sometimes you don’t know how stuck that bolt is and getting another set of scratches squeezing your arm down there might be less tempting than just breaking that shitty little ratchet.

Yeah, ok. There are no illegal weapons available in China or Russia. You’re right. It’s not like either of those countries are a two hour speed boat ride away from Japan either.

There’s no anti flip for street crawling SUV’s until someone invents and anti gravity device. Tall shit’s gonna flip every time.

Either I abuse them or we have very different ratchets here. That 1/4" ratchet is something I buy two of every time I need a new one.

Expensive tools for something I’ll use a lot. Cheap tools for the rest of it. And a monthly subscription of 10mm, 13mm and 1/2". You’ll break or loose those all the time.

That looks a whole lot like the moms Mazda 323 after she lent me her car for a day and didn’t tell me there were three huge buckets of paint the back. I heard something rattling around, but she always had empty bottles and shit laying around the car so I didn’t think much of it. Not until I parked it in her garage

Most cars can be had in any color you want. Just quit buying whatever your dealer has on the lot, cause they are all gonna be black, white or silver.

I’m not even gonna try. At the end of the day it says somewhere in there that the existing type approval for Rollers is no longer valid. That’s a problem.

That’s culture. Not the ability to get guns. They’re skip and a hop away from two very large illegal gun marketplaces. They are close to both Russia and China. If you want an illegal gun in Japan, you can get one. Just like anywhere else in the world.
