One of my 3 year old twins cries until he vomits. We fall asleep together every night on our living room floor. Then I move him to his crib. I very reluctantly share our routine with our pediatrician.

The “are you there” made me cry.

I keep trying to push open the wrong side of one set of doors in my building. Every sing time.

Pretty much my whole life. My parents watched it with us and now my sister and I watch it with our families. The fanfare stops my toddlers in their tracks.

My dad picked The Dentist.

I read it online.

So I actually picked up The Terror as a “Reads Under Wrap” at our library. It was wrapped in plain brown paper with a few clues like: cold, long, and I think something like epic. I thought AMC or someone was developing it into a tv show, but that seems to have fizzled.

I read that book during the winter of 2013/2014 when on at least 2 occasions my office was closed for obscenely cold weather. I was super excited to see this trending last night.

I mean surely they have enough non-Klan former faculty/alums they could honor.

A standard cunt?

Shopping for diamonds.

Well, they found it very shocking. (EYE ROLL)

We new my husband would be a stay at home parent when we found out I was having twins. We could swing day care for one, but not for two. And then when it turned out they were medically fragile, day care wouldn’t have been an option anyway. I have good medical benefits, so I’m the one who keeps working.

I had something like that with my twin pregnancy. (They were fine, but there may have been a 3rd.) I told the ER I didn’t want my jeans back.

Right? My early miscarriages were flushed. Or I guess I could say “buried at sea.” And I had 3 early miscarriages. I can’t imagine having to pay for burial or cremation for what looks very similar to a very heavy period.

Last night my husband and I were discussing the ridiculousness of Donald and Eric’s comments and he brought up the convention grope. He said, “Ivanka did that turn to the side thing women do to disengage from a creep. AND YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE TO EVER DO THAT.”

And in their 30s. I almost lost my husband to a heart attack and a friend of a friend did lose her husband.

There was a lot of that discussed in this book, which I read earlier this year at the request of a friend of my mom. Sometimes it’s easy to forget just how far back we don’t have to go. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7549…

To me Disney doesn’t necessarily equal princess, but then I watched Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, and The Fox and the Hound on repeat. I think the princess thing really became pronounced once The Littler Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast were released. Obviously there were princesses before that, but there were also

Well, of course we don’t. That’s what dads and husbands are for.
