You mean like how they agreed to replace the car, *twice*, after the buyer drove off with the car? After a week of driving it? And then, agreed to a refund (albeit, a slow one), after the *second* car swap?

Yeah, that sounds like some shitty service to me. No compilatory Bentley while he waits? What’s the world coming

My take is that he hit something. There’s no way that you’d miss that damage, even with a quick walk-around.

I don’t see how this reflects poorly on Carvana at all - he would’ve been absolutely screwed if this happened from a private seller or any used car dealer. The fact they let him trade it back in (twice), paid for a rental, and made the process easy only reflects well on Carvana. It’s this guy’s fault for not actually

Well, when Silverrock said, “We’ll fix it,” and then he said, “Nah,” I lost any respect I had left. You’re complaining just to complain, my dude, and continually making things worse at you go.

Taking the car back and giving him credit for another actually seems like a pretty decent solution. Not the best, but not bad.

They looked full though! Who needs a TPMS when you can eyeball it, amirite?

I bought a 06 Ridgeline a few years ago after a test drive where I got to about 45 mph max. On the highway home every time I got above 55 there was a lot of shaking. Researched immediately when I got home, and it seemed the front axels were the problem. Called the used dealership that Monday, and they had it fixed in

Call me spoiled but I really like to buy certified vehicles. I realize you pay for the “extra warranty” but that helps me sleep better after purchasing expensive-to-fix German cars.

Yeah, the headline here should really be “If you’re going to buy a used car without inspecting, Carvana will treat you better than any other seller will.”

Some possible headlines for next time:
“Man buys car without looking at it, but get’s lucky that the seller is willing to replace it.”
“TPMS works properly, man annoyed”

I believe so. As much as his experience sucks at least he has an actual company to fight against.

Oh, so this is how regular people operate when buying a car.

Pretty much, but it seems at least Carvana is willing to trade in his car pretty easily. Not sure what the fine print says about these cars, it’s always good to check a vehicle regardless of where you buy.

This.

And for accuracy:

Why do you think the only options are to do nothing, or to strong arm a current owner into selling?

I’ve lived in Washington and Alabama.

The Taycan really does grow on you because it is such an incredibly comfortable and relaxing place to be, and these little details are the icing on the cake. It looks great in Neptune, too.

This guy is a huge asshole!!! You don’t take motorized vehicles on a park designed for something else. Don’t f@*k up the skate park for those who we’re trying to keep from damaging property by shredding around town.

Paypal’s a shit company and so that extends to Venmo.
