For those who are having trouble understanding this, here : a regular Mercedes, scraping tyres on both sides and only just missing the poles. The actual restriction is narrower than the posted 7ft. The sloped kerb is what is causing everyone to hop-up and hit the poles. Turns out most cars are now using the bus lane

This is a lawsuit waiting to happen, at least it would be in the US.

It’s English feet. So it’s not actually 72 inches. It’s more like 3/4 of a hogsbead or 3-1/2 snapwoozles.

Bicyclist here. I thought the apology was refreshing in an age of half assed “we’re sorry if we offended anyone B.S. that passes for sincere nowadays.

Wish the video would show what the hell these people are hitting, since it’s conveniently hidden behind the damn bush. Or even the article, that would’ve been helpful.

Not sure I see a need to make this a bigger deal than it has already become. They put out a bad joke, got called out, then made what seems like a honest and open apology that appears sincere.

This is why I limit my marquee snark to mocking babies and nursing home patients.

If I’m paying $2k for a line in Miami it’d better be some premium Grade A Pure shit.

I think Daniel Ricciardo and Zak Brown also won over a lot of new US fans with his drive of Dale Earnhardt’s car. It was a lot of fun to watch and excellent PR for the sport.

Same with Latifi.  He and Stroll seem like genuinely decent guys despite coming from fabulous wealth.  Mazepin seems the stereotype.

Well, his father is a big part of the finances for the team, sometimes I feel like he believes he partially owns the team on how he acts, and he isn’t technically wrong with that.

The best thing is that Mazepin is technically 21st in points out of a 20 driver lineup.  Robert Kubica filling in for Kimi finished 14th and 15th in his two starts whereas Mazepin’s best are 14th and 17th, placing him last.

He had no water bottle for the whole race and was ill before the race, he did pretty good considering this is considered one of the most physically demanding tracks at higher than expected temps.

Bottas was nowhere yesterday. It took him 56 laps to get past one Ferrari and one Mclaren. I don’t know that he even passed Gasly before Gasly had to retire. And I’m not sure Bottas won’t get a penalty every race. Mercedes seem to be sacrificing him to do some engine testing for next year or something. Or they have a

Qualifying sure seemed like it was a deathmatch between of HAM, VER, and PER, but not Bottas. That gap probably isn’t that big if Perez is getting lead car strategy.

No, but MB didn’t fu<k up VB’s pit stop this week, so that‘s in

He does want to keep his job...
