Last time I upgraded my PC, I priced up parts, and a prebuilt actually worked out cheaper. It was during the RAM shortage though, so I’m guessing RAM by itself got hit harder.

Never played this, nor do I really care about fighting games at all. But I am a little uncomfortable with the sanitization of deliberately provocative media. More like they did it because they’re an asshole. Tricking someone to look at a Rick Roll video is “for the lulz”, giving someone $2500 and then sayin nevermind and taking it back is a bullshit move that should get that user permabanned, especially since they’ve done this multiple times, apparently.

Situations like this are why always online experiences are just not a good idea.  It was shit when they did it with Diablo 3, and it’s shit now with Diablo 4.
