They wouldn’t have wanted you avoiding all of their Amazon Affiliate links in their Black Friday articles if they’d published it before BF/CM. 😏

The price cut better be substantial (and it won’t because the cost of the drive isn’t substantial) or it’s going to fail just like the XBone SAD did. Why would anyone buy a gimped console for nearly the same amount of the full console when it’s on sale?
Explain Sonic and Knuckles then... ;)
“Don’t worry kids! It’s only a fleshwound... huhuhuhoo!”
Gotta Blow Fast.
Said expert: totally not a goose in glasses.
No shit. Are we going to have an article about how there’s no point making PS5 or NeXtBox games because no one has those yet either?
I’m betting Geoff WAS going to have one, now it’ll be cut to a quick interview at most.
Fetch Quest Simulator?
Their worst? Naah, I’d rather play H3O than Red Dead 2. I can’t imagine the control latency is worse than RDR2 and even if it was, the game would be over quicker.
The first 10 hours, No. In fact, HELL No. The story had a few interesting bits with a lot of bad and obvious allegories that made me roll my eyes almost out of my head. (Your Cellphone is a LITERAL pair of handcuffs, for example) The gameplay itself is that same boring trudge where almost nothing happens except losing…
THIS. As someone with a transmale spouse I really fear the story will revolve around him being trans instead of him being a person first that just happens to be trans. Considering how hamfisted Dontnod’s previous stuff has been, I don’t have much hope, but at least they’re trying.
True, but basically letting the ESRB get away with that non-answer about loot boxes and claim there’s no connection between them and the ESA without even following up produces a toothless documentary not really worth much. The Bethesda Fallout 76 one was basically an ad, right down to having their marketing #BE3…
Ok Boomer.
I love Danny, but him being unwilling to hold feet to the fire in interviews like this and the Bethesda ones are why I stopped supporting his Patreon.
The ESRB will warn about fake casino games, but real money casino games that don’t get you anything but ‘loot’ is nothing for them to worry about? Yeah, right. That’s as bullshit as them claiming that they’re completely owned by but somehow independent and free from influence from the ESA.
There were missions that you had to re-do at a harder difficulty and get a specific rating on it to continue. I believe it was around mission 40 or so. Considering how much the game was unfinished at the end, it really felt like forced padding out a game…
There’s a big difference between the original XBone d-pad and the one in the Elite 1 which is what he’s referring to. The one in the original Elite pad really is an excellent D-Pad.
What are they supposed to do?
They wouldn’t even come out and say WHAT it is that they were apologizing for, so no, they made no attempt to explain anything.
