Seeing Kojima’s gameplay, it feels like merging Breath of the Wild and MGS5 but much more boring. The first trailers made it seem like it would be a kind of horror game. If it had random enemies popping up to attack out during the long stretches it would up the tension a lot but this seems, mundane as fuck.

So it’s going to be Red Dead Redemption 2?

It was supposed to release on the Switch and PS4 at the same time but then got pushed back ‘to focus on the PC version”. Which feels to me like “Epic wanted full exclusivity for a while”. I expect it’ll come out on console at about the same time as the Steam version. :/

Switch and PS4 are coming, they were supposed to launch at the same time but that didn’t happen and the only answer as to ‘when’ has been ‘at some point’. My guess is this is Epic Exclusivity at work.

THIS.

Why do a number of them still look like they’ve been messed with in photoshop?

Gotta love how Gita changed the title and story without any correction notice or anything. Move along, nothing to see here... this was always the story. We’ve always been at war with Eurasia.

Definitely. I loved Control, but Alan Wake is so much better.

He’s not immune to throwing. He can’t dodge your thrown stuff when he’s lifting stuff to throw at you.

Except it wasn’t the original soundtrack at all. The US localizers decided to add the orchestral tracks in without giving players a choice. The original Japanese game was the Midi versions of the tracks.

Yeah, I got used to it but fucking hell the motion blur is close to Final Fantasy Type 0 levels of who thought that was a good idea.

Considering Rin’s ending, a traditional Japanese name doesn’t make sense.

And if this one worked like that one, I wouldn’t be bothered by it, it flips almost instantly. This one takes literal seconds for it to happen... It’s like they wanted the change to be a practical effect but couldn’t manage to make a prop that worked like that and went with it anyway.

If it opened like one I’d agree with you, but the surprisingly slow arc it makes opening ruins it completely.

Yeah, that’s my complaint more than it being ‘impractical’ it just looks stupid when it swings open extremely slowly for what it is... It’s a bad prop and why they felt that scene was done and ‘right’ is beyond me.

It’s almost like they’re not some monolithic being and instead are a collection of a group of different people with different opinions.

A bald faced lie... see also: Cyberpunk, Outer Worlds (which is also releasing on Windows Store) and a bunch of other AAA games. What they meant to say was, “We care about your indie title only as a number to add to our tally of ‘exclusives’ and nothing else.”

TOTALLY innocent mistake. Really.

I still refuse to buy digital games for full price even today. I’d rather have the ‘inferior’ console version and have the disc than pay 60 dollars for something as ethereal as a digital game.
