I love how you’re dodging the point of Epic not allowing indie games in their store unless they’re exclusives by claiming I was too mean in the way I presented how Epic stated that FACT. 🙄
I am indeed. I was especially happy to see it’s coming to GOG.
I didn’t quote the dev either, I paraphrased, hence my use of the words ‘basically said’.
Except many times they used language like “You’ll get a steam key” or a “key delivered via steam”. Yes, they couldn’t have seen the EGS coming and planned for it, but those devs that used that language definitely made promises of one thing...
Here’s the monopolistic part of it... The DARQ dev was offered an Epic deal, They basically said “Nah, I don’t want to do that after I told my fans that it was coming to Steam. I’d love to also have it on Epic Store however in addition to the others so people can choose where they get it.” What was Epic’s totally not…
Wish they offered this for the Elite controllers, I would totally be all over it but for the basic Xbone controller that I’d never use over an Elite...
I really don’t get how no one sees this as a conflict of interest... Even if Geoff no longer does journalism (which honestly I don’t know if he does or doesn’t) shouldn’t it AT LEAST disqualify the game from being up for any Game Awards down the line?
Counterpoint: No, it wasn’t.
Oh yeah! You’re right! When it comes to games that have create a characters they always make sure you know it via the box art. Like in the Mass Effect trilogy where you could only play as a bald white guy. </s> 🙄
Your main character is... a create-a-character with no defined race or sex.
They do (see the video below). The “Problem” is they’re not in English or ‘popular’ to English speakers in the US. And by problem I mean, not actually a problem but they don’t get exposure so games journalists looking for an easy story will claim they just don’t exist because they don’t KNOW they exist because they…
Weird because most of the people saying that aren’t saying “I’m white and the latinos around me hate that word”. Most are saying “I’m from [Latin country] and we hate that word”. But I guess that doesn’t matter when you can just erase them by claiming they said something they’re didn’t because they don’t believe in…
It’ll be available in the article’s DLC.
Considering all the issues with the complaint already, it sounds like they were unhappy with sales and were looking for something to blame, and since games journalists hate G2A anyways...

It’s not JUST the condescending nature of the original post that riled people up. There’s also the dev perplamps responding to people with fair criticisms like “hey this sucks because I can no longer buy the game in my country” with “we don’t owe you entitled gamers anything”.
Except these aren’t people grown in a lab either, they’ve already been ‘steeped’ in the culture “of women only valuable through their sexual availability” according to the people who talk about it contributing to a negative body image.
Worked for me and everyone I suggested it to. Seems more like most of those complaining have an axe to grind about Nintendo.
The controllers are fine. There’s some dust or dirt that got inside them. Take a can of compressed air, Deoxit, or even just a bit of rubbing alcohol and spray/pour it in the stick and swirl it around a bit. Good as new. You’re welcome.
