Have Liverpool been fortunate in some games this year? Sure, but I’m not sure you can look at results like Leicester and Napoli and make that case. They *dominated* the Leicester game and were hilariously unfortunate to be tied when they got that 95th minute penalty (seriously, they gave up 3 whole shots to the fourth

Similar to why KG and Duncan always wanted to be listed at 6'11" -- in their case, they didn’t want to be thought of as/play Center (b/c Centers were slow, plodding, post-only players). I think KD just very much wants to be a wing player - and thought of as such.

The good news is our best midfielder was out injured for this game and will hopefully be back in October.

The main problem that I have with the Canadian talent argument is that the Canadian defense is just... bad (well that and the somewhat related point that the team managed to give up 3 goals and lose to Haiti in the Gold Cup this summer). So it would be one thing for the USMNT to lose and up-and-down 5-4 game because

Look, you make valid points about how talented Canada is, and Davies looks like he has a chance to be an incredible player. But as things are now, Pulisic is farther along in his career/better than Davies, McKennie is 21 and plays for a Bundesliga mainstay that is currently contending for a CL spot, and Sargent is out

Damn you

Stacey Abrams and Warren herself also seem like reasonable, possible choices for VP.

On the other hand, I’m convinced that Gregggggg Berhalter is a plant by Jill Ellis to make her look better by comparison, so there’s that.

Petition to call people Magikarps more often

He has three majors to his name, all won fairly late in his career after he had seemingly settled very firmly into the “good-not-great” occupied by the Davydenkos of the world, so I don’t feel too bad for the guy.

100% on Frazier’s side with regard to the media but I feel like it’s definitely worth noting that Frazier is just hilariously bad at this whole outfield thing, even beyond the clip shown above. I mean, this happened in the *next inning* and is one of those plays that doesn’t go down as an error just because the player

In her defense, it’s not like the people running the joint had made Westeros a utopia in her absence, and her willingness to take on the established, slave-owning powers of Essos in order to get to her goal made it seem like she’d be a good queen for the common people, which is something she actively embraced.

The whole reason the people we know followed her, though, was that she seemed dedicated to ruling in a way that was entirely different than every other ruler before her.

Neither could Jason Witten?

“All Anthony Davis did was request a trade, something professional athletes, famous and less-famous ones, have been doing for decades in all the major sports of the world. It was neither an unprecedented move nor even a particularly ambitious on”

Dude he’s not Welsh

This is true only if you ignore the OG GOAT, Charmander

It’s worth noting here that Salah and Lovren seem to have one of the closest friendships on the Liverpool squad, so Lovren’s distaste for Ramos almost certainly has a more personal edge to it than it may otherwise have.
