The only way men are going to stop this ridiculous behavior is if they have to start suffering the consequences of engaging in ridiculous behavior.

“Holding people accountable” =/ “virtue signalling”
We get it, you’re the only correct person ever, everyone else is always wrong.
oh ffs, HE HASN’T BEEN DESTROYED just suspended from his job.
Oh I have. As far as I know the conversations remain private. It takes two willing parties to have a private conversation. Otherwise you’re just harassing someone and expecting them to keep it to themselves which is obviously a ludicrous expectation.
But you are wrong, you are. You not seeing it is on you, not on everyone else who doesn’t see the stupid point you are trying to make.
So the petty/destructive part was Jane saying “hey this happened”? Personally I think communicating clearly that “hey you don’t get to be a gross asshole and just assume impunity” is a worthwhile cause. Guess I’m just virtue signaling that my bar for dude behavior is higher than “Don’t be a rapist, or if you are one,…
It doesn’t matter what you think is harassment though. It matters what the law and the victim think, no someone getting worked up making straw man arguments like yourself.
Only little crappy internet kids use silly buzzwords like “virtue signaling.” It’s a way to know you can’t be taken seriously, and make bad faith arguments.
Why would he care if anyone else saw? Nothing wrong with it right?
She sucks for exposing a scumbag who even in professional discourse cannot help themselves from being sexually aggressive person by screen capping their exact words without any exaggeration or bullshit and with clear context?
Try rereading my comment. It wasn’t meant for you.
First, I think you are replying to the wrong person. I’m not the one who compared guys like this to rapists. I’m strictly spekaing about a guy who harasses a woman at 3 AM after she has a.) responded to him about work opportunities and b.) after she didn’t respond to his flirting at her.
You’re subscribing to the false economic notion that wealth cannot be created, or that earning wealth means you’ve taken wealth from another. This is demonstrably false and no economist would argue that. Trade creates wealth where there was none before. Because one person is rich does not mean that another person is…
Bill Gates and Buffet, didn’t “earn” their wealth they “created” it. IIRC Buffet’s salary from Berkshire Hathaway is only $100K, that is how much he earns. The wealth comes from the appreciation in value of the businesses they created.
You mean workers that were paid for their work? Gates did not take anything from them, they were compensated. There are many, many, many people who have achieved quite a bit of wealth from Microsoft, perhaps not billions but it isn’t like Gates stole this money from anyone.
A billion dollars is never earned, it’s taken.
Okay, guy who spends all of his time online crying and emotionally whining and then saying he’s not!
Aw, the baby got upset again and had to come up with a lame response. Keep crying, baby, it’s literally all you’ve got. Now go whine some more about a lady on Twitter.
“I mean, Sir, they call themselves Decepticons!”
