The Porsche comparison is a stretch at best.

Showing up in a GT2 is a marker of personal accomplishment. You have the means and the taste to show up in a well heeled historically accomplished race car. The lime green or orange are brash but not nearly as offensive as an Aventador or similar.

I like it, but same reason I couldn’t even drive a WRX at my age. I’m 38 and it’d be just too embarrassing to roll up in a kid’s car. This takes it even further.

Exactly. By styling it this aggressively (disgustingly) they have effectively limited their target buyer to teenage boys.

It’s an over styled Subaru with a Honda badge. It’s not a good look.
