The right to self-defense is a basic human right. The right to bear arms is inherent in that right to self-defense. The right to bear arms is a basic human right.

No amount of school shootings would ever make me change my beliefs about man’s inherent right to self-defense and gun ownership as has been codified in American law throughout our history and, even before, in English common law and is tied to such esteemed thinkers as John Locke and William Blackstone.

There are so many reasons to buy multiple guns, but you don’t need a single one. Why do people have multiple cars or a fun, weekend motorcycle? We like variety and choice has been considered a positive hallmark of capitalism for as long as this country has been around.

To be fair, while Obama never took any guns, it’s certainly clear that the Democratic base wanted him to and now openly call for it. If anything, the people warning about that and complaining of a “slippery slope” were called crazy and were, at most, a few years off.

The judge and DA that were involved in allowing the warrant should be removed because people died from a shitty no-knock raid which is inherently risky. They took that risk and the wrong person died, others shot. They should face some sort of accountability.
