People may have been scared about the first protest, but that is only due to media fear mongering needlessly. Remember, those are the same people who said “if a black man did this, he’d be shot on sight” and...well, here we see that’s not true either.

I agree that you don’t need to run around shoving guns in peoples’ faces, but I think that behavior has become much more common as the calls for gun control and confiscation have grown. If they don’t protest and make noise then there is no way to have a voice in the debate.

I appreciate your response and will continue to ruminate about the three articles you shared. My initial observation is that your own sources paint slavery as only one factor in the argument over the language in the Second Amendment/Founders intent rather than the sole (or even main) reason.

I obviously don’t know the situation, but my sister had pretty serious anxiety issues growing up and exercise and keeping a routine schedule were the best things (other than discussing potential stressors) that she discovered for helping with it. I know both of those can be difficult to come by…

Well, if you really want to know, we are an English common law system and it’s based off of Article 61 of the Magna Carta which enshrines the peoples’ right to correct the government if it ignores the Constitution or infringes upon their rights.
