Well, I own a lot of guns. I own multiple ARs even. Hell, I have 5 Browning A5 shotguns (the Belgian ones are too hard to find these days to pass up). I own ARs for the same reason that I own any gun. Or multiple bicycles. Or even multiple outfits. I own them because I enjoy working on them and shooting them (I grew

Your argument that people hunt with an AR-15 because “that is all that they own” doesn’t really hold up.

No, hunting isn’t an inalienable right. The Second Amendment isn’t about hunting. I was just answering hunting questions because clearly the other responses weren’t doing that.

The firing mechanism that AR-15s use was developed in 1885. It wasn’t designed to kill any more than any other gun or bullet in history.

AR-15's are tools that are designed to kill (technically, “shred” would be a better verb) humans and human-sized targets.

A great memorial, I thought (even though I haven’t really been on the grieve Kobe train). The weakest point was Christina Aguilera’s weird rendition of Ave Maria and her awkward pause on the stage afterward (and saying thank you several times as if this was a concert). Compare that to how Alicia Keys handled herself.

Usually those on the Left love to compare America’s failings to Europe. Why not the case here? Oh yeah, because the United States already has some of the most welcoming immigration laws in the world. Most countries (even Canada) are far more serious about making sure that potential immigrants can support themselves

Yeah, that part is weird. There is a hunting passport that allows 8 and 9 year olds to hunt there, but not for big game like deer.

Why does no one on these websites understand the difference between rights and privileges? I know constitutional law isn’t a class in high school, but most people know how to read and could educate themselves if they were so inclined.

The whole point of the protest (whether you agree with it or not) was to show that there is nothing inherently dangerous about an AR-15. A gun is only a tool to fire a bullet so having it unloaded kind of defeats the purpose.

You have the order backwards. These outward gun displays are in response to people saying that you shouldn’t be able to own them at all. There are already 5-10 million ARs privately owned in the US. Gun control supporters have argued to the Courts that even so many don’t make the weapons “in common use.” So gun owners

You obviously didn’t grow up playing the same video games that I did...

Since no one gave you a real answer, here it is:

“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”

So ridiculous. You’re demonizing your ideological opponents in the same irrational way that Trump supporters do. Do you hunt? Do you own an AR-15?

Please report to your local constable.

It’s not a very flattering pose in her defense. I would be pissed if a photographer picked that photo out of an entire photo shoot for a national magazine cover too.

“The process really has been punishment enough,” he said.

Hate to break it to you, but everywhere has that history. It is still very prominent in Japan though. Plenty of places that won’t serve foreigners and prestigious professionals in certain fields would never work with/for foreigners. As an example, even a rich, white guy isn’t getting top level geishas.

Sure, that part is nice. But they still don’t fall flattering on her. I get that we want to praise everything Lizzo, but ignore the pattern and the dress just doesn’t fit or flatter her at all.
