Trotting out the military as props is like Politics 101. Their families are inherently sympathetic, and Soldiers get virtually no say in what they are told to do (if someone tells them to go stand next to the President and have him pin on an award, thats what they do). Plus politicians can funnel all sorts of money

He knows how to deal with the likes of you, Two Sheds.

That’s why his recent two statements decrying anti-Semitism ring so fuckin’ hollow. The guy has repeatedly said it’s all “fake” and that the “other side” is really doing it. Talking out of both sides of his mouth. He’s such a piece of garbage.

+1 Battle of Agincourt

I keep saying this, but I think we habitually underestimate how many people in America are pretty happy with what the administration is doing, and those people are probably thrilled with what they saw last night.

They looked like cheap paid extras on a movie shoot.

I honestly cannot believe the political press and, apparently, survey respondents are falling for this bullshit like the last two years of evidence just magically vanished; and they’re offering anything remotely resembling praise for this speech from this septuagenarian dipshit.

Last night Paul Ryan really upped his game in his quest for 2017's Most Punchable Face Award.

The problem with this analysis (or acceptance of this analysis as compartmentalizing policy vs. “approach”) is that 70 year old men aren’t known to be big on self-reflection, emotional growth, and intellectual growth, especially when they very specifically have shown themselves over the course of the prior 24 months

I’m not confusing you. You’re attempting to give the man kudos he did not earn while covering your own ass. And it’s not working.

“Sounded presidential.”

Nobody is ‘confusing’ you. You’re already confused. You’ve adopted the low bar of punditry, the idea that what matters in politics is the theater and the game, but not the policies or their effects. As the old saying goes, there is no one more dangerous in politics than the articulate idiot. Except, evidently, the

Cool. Maybe write an op-ed about how a con man has made being American literally embarrassing. I don’t find it funny anymore. I’m not interested in the politics and semantics behind it anymore. I’m just so. fucking. done. Your analysis is asinine because nothing matters anymore.

Their nodding and smiling in response to the orange hyena’s points  reminded me of Politburo hacks during the days of Brezhnev.

No, fuck all that. An Indian immigrant was MURDERED in Kansas just a few days ago by a white supremacist who was motivated by the type of anti-immigrant sentiment that Donald Trump has promoted and mainstreamed further than any other politician in recent memory. And what does he do? Basically completely dismisses the

I did not miss the part where he mentioned something vague about the environment on the same day he rescinded a clean water initiative of Obama’s. He’s an ignorant and vulgar twat.

You and me, both

Did you miss the part where he shifted the blame of the botched Navy SEAL operation to the generals and Obama? This man is a fucking disgrace and a coward. No one should respect this man. What a piece of shit.

Look, man, he would’ve been so proud of how long his standing ovation was. Y’know, if he were alive to see it and all.

What the fuck is up with these cable news talking heads and their knob slobbing on this speech? I mean Van fucking Jones, did you bring a towel with you or did you need to run get one to clean up after you delivered that handy?
