Life is just one, never-ending crisis!
I have no idea, because there is no precedent I can think of. Your idea would work, though.
Thanks pastry chefs for the abundant supply/Because this buffet it drained my balls dry.
Amen. Bring back catchphrases! Wendy’s* was a classic and let’s not forget “Time to make the donuts.”
Indeed. I was talking about most gym routes, but I was definitely not very clear and you are right.
That’s a good question.
Speaking of straw men, nobody was demanding empathy, that was just you reframing my position to bolster your argument. You’re free to feel bad for somebody who is suffering from a pretty normal disappointment, or not. But, if your response to that suffering is “well, that guy already has more than me, so fuck him,”…
If you went to your local climbing gym, I’d say that more than half the people there could climb this route. So, amongst climbers, it’s pretty tame. Of course, it would take even a strong climber a minute or two to get up it if it was their first attempt.
For those who are curious, the speed climbing route is rated in the 5.10a - 5.10c range.
Like a lot of commenters, you seem to have an inability to feel empathy for somebody who is more fortunate than you, and it’s making you say stupid things.
Try being a Rockies fan.
That’s a handsome dog. What kind is it? It looks like a Weimaraner took steroids and then put on a Newfie suit!
I’m a big Danny McBride fan and really like TRG, but Devine is my least favorite part. I’m not sure what it is, but he’s never been my cup of tea.
You were right to read it that way since that was the joke I was going for. He is an old Yankee fan, but I took poetic license with his politics for a gag.
You may be right, but my grandfather has voted Democrat as long as I can remember, and given his feelings on Trump, that won’t change next year.
He does, and says as much pretty often. But, like any fan, he wants one more.
Thanks. And, that’s on me since I wrote it, but it is amazing how many people are proudly impervious to the feelings of a lonely old man who roots for the wrong team.
I love this camera angle. Much better at conveying the speed and violence than a driver’s-eye-view shot.
If you want a real weird, Jake deep cut, try Enemy.
Yeah, a swing and a miss by me. It was meant to be a joke about the casual racism of old men - even good, old men.
