Wish I could help, but I know nothing about Kinja. I think they put up a new article about how to address these problems.

Nope.

This is a test, since I wanted to claim my name and comment history so nobody else did. Not sure I’ll actually be sticking around.

Guess it worked. Bye everybody!

Just trying to claim my name and comment history.

Since I am not sure to what degree (if at all) I will continue to stick around after the Kinjapocalypse, here is a rundown of upcoming historical anniversaries for the rest of the year:

Yes, at the very minimum I will claim the frug user name and comment history just to make sure no one else steals them.

It just didn't go anything because the young boy who sued Singer withdrew his case

Not that I am aware of, though I've never seen Blackadder so maybe…

Well from George III's perspective a tree was the King of Prussia…

What's Colbert doing hosting Grizzly Bear? We all know that bears are bloodthirsty godless killing machines.

In other historical news, today is also the 960th anniversary of the Battle of Lumphanan which saw the death Scottish King Mac Bethad mac Findlaích, or as he is more commonly known today, Macbeth. He lived an interesting life. I think somebody once wrote a play about it.

(Today is the 1300th anniversary of perhaps the most important battle in the history of Western Civilization; the Second Arab Siege of Constantinople. While I hate to just copy-paste, I wrote something about this last year (you'll see why in a second) but I figure it works just as well here…)

Hey, today is International Lefthanders Day!

If we are picking the best Frasier episode, I go with The Ski Lodge (though Three Valentines has the best sequence with Niles' in Frasier's apartment.)

Remember when the AV Club did their list of the best sitcom episodes of the past 25 years and Frasier didn't make the cut?

Snyder's version of Watchmen is really the best that could possibly be made given that the book would have worked much better as a mini-series than as a feature film.

For me the bigger issue from a historical standpoint was that they didn't even mention Salamis which was the far more important battle.

Whatever else may be wrong with this movie, I'll give Snyder this; he managed to make a two hour movie even though he only had about 15 minutes of plot to work with.
