I’ve been looking into possibly buying one of these, eventhough it does not differ much in looks from a regular c-class i still love it. The M156 engine is by far one of my favorite motors. The only thing i am hesitant about is the infamous “head bolt” issues that all the 08-10’s are plagued with. Even some 11’s...

Just curious, how did you come about mentioning Suriname?..
First time ever reading someone who might possibly know of our existence

My 07 Mustang GT started overheating, after having me replace the radiator and thermostat without helping the problem he came to the conclusion that i had "warped heads" due to the overheating and almost had me proceed to get a new set of heads. Brought it in for a second opinion at another mechanic. Turned out it was

Game Set Match! Atleast in terms of looks..

Interested to see what powerplant they'll use... perhaps the gt500's 5.8liter s/c engine?(as they did with the last one...)

Brings back memories of my first car...
The Ssangyong Korando...
Actually had a mercedes diesel engine! or mercedes licensed atleast..

When i read the headline, i thought it was going to be about a modded C5.
I'm sure few have seen 11's with this car in stock form... but lets call the C5 what it is, a 12.5-12.7 consistent. 12.2-12.4 driver mod, 11.8-11.9 Randy Pobst/ Ranger mod..

Seriously, i usually don't comment on the mileage on the other cars you post about, often (70K-90k, which to me is a lot!) but this one is just ridiculous.... Besides that, it is one of the cars i've often overlooked!

indeed, i forgot the e63's used to have the 6.2 v8's as well before they started using the biturbo's.

I'm from one of these kinds of countries, purchased a new ml350 in 2012 in miami from the dealer and i had to pay no such export fee. I did have to pay local taxes and insurance to take it to the port. (At other brands like Ford you dont have to pay local tax)

Something else the exporters from those countries like to do is buy from salvage yards like; copart.com, bringing in a damaged vehicle allows them to massively undercut their local import fees while getting them fixed by a bunch of chimps in a shady shop for cents on the dollar...

I'm from one of those kind of countries although a far less popular one.
Here's something interesting;
Some dealers when purchasing a car brand new don't make you pay the local taxes if the car is for export, for instance the last dealer that allowed me to, not pay the local taxes was Ford, when i purchased a new

This might be a good contender towards the SVT Raptor... Too bad it took this long to come since the Raptor is probably nearing redesign etc

It's time for Nissan to bring back a mod friendly engine.. The VQ35's and 37's just aren't.... (current Z owner here..)

While i do think this car is very original, i don't think that awesome engine compensates enough for the cars look... so why get an R63? if it's only for the 6.2 V8, get the C63 instead and you might even save a couple of bucks!

Thats what i'd like to know myself. There is a huge difference in the pre-owned market between manual m3's and smg m3's... I'd obviously like to have a 6-speed manual but if my budget doesn't allow it i want to know if i can settle for an smg instead..., A lot of people react like the guy above, but very few can back

great read, here's an idea for a next project; an e46 m3 but there's a catch! it has to be with an smg transmission since these seem to be easier to find..

I concur, lamborghini's only seem to compete in dragraces or standing mile races with insane hp numbers... actually funny how American cars have become better handling cars and this Italian car company has become worse...

It almost spreads its legs (in a straight) as well as Kim
