Really don't understand what monumental story ya'll expected out of this movie. I loved it and it was exactly what I expected, lots of references to the games and a simple story with some good laughs thrown in. Really don't know why anyone expected some award winning story or epic character development out of this.

That moment where the brass band music changes from a melancholy funeral march to a “WE COMIN” march

Loved that the plans against Andor failed due to him prioritizing a living friend over dead family as important as that family may be.

I rented out a movie theater today to stream this on the big screen for me and my son for his birthday. 200 bucks very well spent.

There was so much fan service going on here that I was half-expecting Cad Bane to be played by Walton Goggins, and he’d reveal Cobb’s past as part of the spice mining operation on Kessel. “Cobb, we dug spice together.”

Yeah, his face should be longer and narrower. He def looks weird. Seemed like an easy problem to avoid, but here we are.

I hope next week’s episode of Boba Fett is actually just a new episode of Fringe.

I think it stresses me out because there are so many Aes Sedai bent on trying to use him and manipulate him; and like you said, he goes when he’s ready - established and powerful enough on his own so that would be impossible for them to contain or control him.

Man, that sequence even looks good in gif form.  Though I am rather partial to Daisy’s one take John Wick sequence from season 3 I think it was.

Yeah, I know. I said “leading up” to this it was my feeling.

Lookit this guy, assembling his PC on a table, during daylight hours, in a nice outfit. Typical Hollywood - the rest of us stay up after the family goes to bed, slap an AMD processor into a case that might or might not have the correct power supply, and hope we can get five minutes of Mortal Kombat before we pass out

“We’re proud to announce our newly named team ... The Washington Lady As!”

Actually, it wasn’t all the right words, which may save the box set. I definitely caught several off phrases in the midst of the real stuff, including one “Daisy.”

I totally missed that. He was such an unimportant character before this last season to me, that I must have forgotten what he looked like between seasons.

Man, I barely remember anything about this one, much less its climax. All I remember is a more dingy & drab than usual colour palette and that I was pretty sick of “I’m separated from my family!” stories.

I start tearing up all over again when he finds the rest of the pictures in the scrapbook and the note she left him.

I also did this :)

I do not understand how The Cannonball Run has not already been remade. In all the nerdstalgia and mining of older films for ideas, this one seems like a no-brainer. There’s a loose plot and a string of celebrity appearances, all wrapped up in a prolonged car chase. It can be heavy on car wrecks and flips, but there’s

I love this film.

Ferris is very popular, Reid. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he’s a righteous dude.
