So if some hyper-aggressive men in civilian clothing ran up, surrounded you, and forced you into an unmarked vehicle, you’d be cool with that?
Plain clothes, running up and snatching someone without clear establishment of what authority you are representing is not how we as Americans accept an arrest. This person was not a violent extremist or anything that would require a tactic of this level. Nor would would we arrest someone who did meet that level in…
Fuck you.
Do you lick the boot or do you also suck on it too? Like whats your technique.
Also, the negative partisanship is the reason we have no empathy anymore...and when you can look at this an be like “cool” then our democracy is fucking dead.
This blurring of lines between mopeds and scooters annoys me.
This, it’s like we’re being lead to believe this is a sudden worldwide phenomena, when in reality a couple people noticed this recently and other people are then checking on their unused PSPs where the battery likely expanded months or years ago.
In related news, a loaf of bread I bought in 2005 is beginning to look a little long in the tooth.
So what you are saying is that if manual where available on all trims, and dealerships were to order them only to sell them heavily discounted the following year after sitting on the lot for 14 months, they would sell a bit more of them.
There’s a reason the S4 and 3 Series don’t even offer a manual transmission anymore. If Genesis did offer the manual in the V6, all of the “stupid Genesis” comments would have been about how it was too expensive and that they should have offered it on something more affordable. How do I know? It’s exactly the comments…
Nope. Hyundai had all the data they needed to know that people weren’t going to buy the manual. Frankly, they were pretty smart to keep their risk low. No one buying a Genesis was going to option the manual...well, a 100 or so someones.
But Honda put the manual on the 2.0T and it still sold like crap.
BMW offered a manual on all trims and engines for the F30 3 series. No one bought them. Corvette offered a manual on all engines. Less than 25% bought it with a manual. Even in the enthusiast market with the 911, less than 20% go for the manual. The broader market doesn’t want manuals, it’s simple as that. They could…
They probably still would have only sold 1%, and to offer it on the V6 would have had to develop a manual specifically for that car. Way too much money, way too small of a market.
Also manuals are no longer more efficient and offering more than one transmission increases production complexity generally.
No, thats not the whole case. A huge, huge majority of people dont want to deal with manual transmissions. Putting them on a higher trim wouldnt help them sell well. In fact, they would probably sell even worse. Also, autos are far, far better than they once were and outside of an enthusiast, manual transmissions…
Yeah, manuals in traffic have never particularly bothered me and do afford some options for in-gear idling and such that you can’t do with an auto.
did you or have you even considered buying this car? I know I prefer sticks, and will probably at some point look for a G70 with a stick once prices get acceptable. problem is most of us stick guys don’t think buying new makes sense.
You want to point to an engine that makes some of the sweetest sounds on the planet, that would be the big block 440 under the hood of my Charger. When you’re just cruising and the block is burbling, the sound is almost soothing. Then you put your foot in it and the 440 roars...god, it’s so amazing. So undeniably cool.
