I think a Lex Luthor story could be kind of cool, if done right.

I hope they do. I enjoyed his version of Superman.

Hey, I’ve had a bad week and I said something dumb here. My apologies.

I’m stubborn, but I’m also frequently wrong. Plus, where’s the fun in just making up your mind and never doing anything about it? I just listened to a Podcast that changed my mind on Venom AND the Boss Baby. I may not like them, but I can appreciate them. Maybe I can change my mind here.

I hear it ends by showing the names of everyone who made the movie and it completely removes “The Last Jedi” as being “The Newest Star Wars movie” and replaces this one with being “The Newest Star Wars Movie.”

Maybe... based on your recommendation.. MAYBE... I’ll give it a third look. :)

Bernie-Tron 2020!

I love your work, Jesse, i always love when you respond. But there’s literally an Oedipal scene , there’s an Electra complex scene at the end (not the electrocution, but the monster taking the form of her absent father, before anyone misreads that as a pun. I love puns, but not here), and count how many happy,

I do want to point out: I totally understand why people like it. It just didnt’ work for me, in particular.

For me that’s It Follows.

Can’t argue with number 1, but it’s surprising. It’s a wonderful movie, and I’m happy to see some love for it on here.

As long as I can call the one in Empire, “Yoda, Baby,” then I’m cool.

Whoa, dude, how about you pull back a little bit and relax. I said repeatedly I liked but did not love the movie. I just thought it got a nice boost from the media freak-out, which it probably did.

I wish “Crawl” had gotten more love. That one was bonkers.

Yeah, it gave me whiplash. The vitriol around this movie blows my mind. Literally, old movies used to advertise as “the movie THEY don’t want you to see.” Then everyone’s shocked a bunch of people go see this one.

Look, the movie was ok. I saw it, I thought it had some good moments. But the way people are treating this particular movie was way over the top. I promise you if the media didn’t freak out, it wouldn’t have hit 1 billion.

This particular story about the Joker is a neat reminder about how many people really wanted to hate the Joker and were really disappointed not everyone felt the same way.

Will I understand this if I didn’t see Bridges 1 through 20?

I think that’s what the episode WAS missing. I think if they had a trans character who was commenting on the fact that this person was making a mockery of something they had been training for, we would have had a much better and different episode.

Niiiiiicccceeeeee.
