I’m not as familiar with the comics, thank you.

But we missed a good chunk of stuff in this. I really wish we could have seen it

I thought that he didn’t have to keep his emotions in check now, so he can be upbeat and exuberant.

Was this to beat Netflix’s release of Veronica Mars by a week?

It really seemed like they killed the Hulk and they kept his body for Banner to use. The Hulk, who developed in the third Thor just sort of... vanished in favor of Banner.

I really enjoyed Endgame, but I wasn’t a fan of how they killed the Hulk off screen like that. Honestly, I don’t know what the problem would have been with having him show up during the Battle for Wakanda and making it feel like a complete arc instead of him just disappearing so Banner could start riding around in his

Good. He was a great Superman saddled with a so/so script and someone trying to make a movie that we’d already seen.

I agree. They should have given it to a woman, and honestly, they should have made a mini-series that ended after June was thrown into that van, and then picked up in the conference that gave us some hope that she got out.

I’m really looking forward to this.

I can’t wait to get stoned and watch this.

I like the idea of focusing on multiple women. But Eden, especially in the Waterford house, would have given us an interesting opportunity to show us what it’s like for a “true believer” to lose her faith in this system.

1. I agree with you that Eden should have lived. I think June should have escaped, Eden become our POV character while June tried to work the system from Canada. (and maybe ended up back in Gilead, in a meaningful way.)

Is Ozark really that good? It was on my to-watch list and it seemed to get panned (ish) by the AV Club, so I took it off. Should I re-think that?

I know this isn’t popular, but I totally loved junkyard Dalek.

They went 6 season... are we getting and a movie?

I’m glad to hear they’re already doing some classic Doctor Who Monsters. i liked the most recent season and the new Doctor, but I think at times it tended to lean a little too much into “let’s completely forget the past: it’s a new Doctor!”

No, but I follow a lot of YA fiction, and there were two books that were cancelled this year for not being woke enough. this year. That doesn’t count the one last year that was “cancelled” because it was about a young woman learning not to be racist, or my personal favorite: a debut author writing a book that went on

Wait, this was him operating with pressure?

I mean... yes? I’m not knocking it, I enjoyed it, but it was opening without a critic’s screening against a heavily hyped buddy comedy, and got not only a good review but a good audience score.
