I was thinking about it this mornign while listening to my favorite Good Place Podcast, “The Burrito” which covers a lot of the philosophical elements of the show. A points system implies some kind of “winner” and wouldn’t there be a “winner” on who can get in the most people?

This was an “A” episode but I’m glad to see Caroline took some imaginary points off for turning bubble wrap into a weapon.

Ulysses Everett McGill from O Brother Where Art Thou is my favorite.

Would that it were so simple.

My theory is that there’s a Good Place, but the Bad Place people have been doing something to manipulate the system to get more people into the Bad Place.

Dwayne Johnson playing a wrestler named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. I don’t know if that makes sense, guys. Was Vin Diesel not available to play the part?

To help thin out the herd.

“Final” a word here meaning “the last” or “until we can adapt some of the supplementary materials if ratings are good enough.”

“An uninspired Legends once again fails to include a new character named ‘Oliver Sava’ who is best friends with the crew and has all of the powers of everyone.”

As long as he does it in a terrible cockney accent to keep everything in continuity.

I honestly thought we all just agreed to pretend the Cat in the Hat movie didn’t exist. That was the one, people. We still had to admit Steel was a thing. I’m not selling my soul to another demon to make this happen.

You’re in their heads now, Oliver. Wield this power responsibly, and get them to do a Supernatural Crossover.

Thank you! I enjoyed the conversation! (Plus I don’t want any Bad Place points.)

Hey while I do think the reveal at the end of last episode was dumb, but you’ve convinced me that I’m wrong. I think this season is stronger than I originally gave it credit for, especially as I respond to many of you. My apologies.

Yeah, I’m thinking more about it now and I guess you’re right. I just felt in those cases it was still building towards something more. I think I feel like the points in the good place right now: Like they’re stalled for whatever reason. I think it has to do with the fact that they’re dealing with the same things

I’m not doubting the growth, but it’s growth we’ve seen. I thought the first two episodes were brilliant: I like the way it seemed like it was going to be a recap, but then faked us out and skipped through a lot of Chidi’s lessons, but a lot of it has been... meh. Jason came to terms with his dad while Chidi had to

I think the writing on the Good Place this season has been the worst possible use of Free Will. Everyone’ doing a study in Australia! No... no they’re not. Trevor is going to mess everything up! no... no he’s not. Michael and Janet are confronted by the Ju.... no that ended pretty quickly. At least we can fall back on

Whatever the typeface for the Avatar movies is.

Money?

you know what, I’m on board for this.
