I actually really want to chime in on this: I remeber a few aspects of the game being very.....rapey. Like intamacy mode or w/e. You’re groping a girl who keeps saying “stop please.” That’s not good. That needs to be removed.

To me the most important aspect of this case was the whole medical procedure classification. Its an untenable imposition to create a medical license requirement but no means to get such a certification nor set up professional standards for tattoing.

I think it’s more that the SaGa games were never that big outside of Japan, so it’s structure is fairly unknown and seen as outside of the norm, and Octopath Traveler is basically Octopath SaGa.

It’s gotta be frustrating for Nintendo that they made ARMS and Splatoon2 with Esports in mind but people would rather form communities around manipulating the broken mechanics of an 18 year old party game....
