If history is any indication it doesn’t matter. Nintendo spent 3 generations beating out the competition in graphics capability. Only one of those generations, the SNES, was a slam dunk. And that was a hard fought war until Sega decided to go all stupid and destroy what little lead they briefly held.
I haven’t used a Wii U. Surprisingly, it’s one of the consoles that we don’t have at work for comparisons. I think that it has to do with the smaller market share and that it was released later during this generation of console.
One thing that struck me about the new ad is, damn, the Switch is going to be the FIRST tablet device that allows you to play AAA multi player online games. iPads are cool but Words With Friends is not exactly the same thing.
