Why does the headline say they were told to “shut down” when that wasn’t the case? There’s a pretty big difference between saying “remove our trademarks” and saying “shut down entirely,” particularly when this person is now profiting off of those trademarks.

I just assume she meant:

Given how hell-bent some game creators are about putting stories in their games that turn out to be bad, I can live with one who, at worst, sometimes erred in the other direction.

I disagree.

I’d say yes, especially if you look at some of the mods out there. They have mods that set up the Falcon 9 landing scenarios, as well as a few mods that set the things up to be more realistic and closer to our solar system, so calculations would actually make sense. that said I haven’t looked into any of them very

Times have changed. Publisher's these days prefer to release on as many platforms as possible these days. And third party exclusives are becoming rarer. If Nintendo made a console that was easy to port to (decently powered, x86 architecture, less gimmicks) then third parties would come back to the platform. Right now

Moments like this is why I'm glad Nintendo takes risks. They fail hard sometimes, but at least there's something to learn from it all. I get that money and popularity are the main measurements of success in the console business, but I'd like to think it's the more abstract things that really define a console's legacy.
