I agree. The internet is just a place for people to criticize other people in comments. I think he was just joking around with his daughters and didn’t mean anything. However, he should know better to put it on the internet. It’s like casting pearls before swine. LOL

The solution is no practical jokes on your daughters AND putting them up on social media.

The problem is what happened on the internet. We’re going to assume the comments were shut down for a reason. The dad might have been lighthearted about it, even the girls, but have you ever looked at the comments section of a woman working outside of say makeup ro cooking? Female comics, female scientists, female

Nothing wrong with playing a joke on your kid. In private. Publicly (internationally in this case) is where it crosses the line.

I disagree that this is harmless. At the point this total jerk let his children make fools of themselves in a public place with an event he caused, he crossed the line. A parent should never do that to a child. Shared fun within the family is one thing. Public humiliation, is inexcusable.

Yep. The internet ruins everything.

Fuuuuuck this dad. Playing in to stereotypes to embarrass your kids on the internet is shitty. That will be there forever.

Embarrassed in the video could easily translate to humiliated once this hit the internet.

I think the prank is harmless by itself, but putting it online for strangers to watch is not just shitty but makes it completely different from the pranking and hazing stories people are sharing in these comments.

Are you really going to argue the semantics of embarrassed and humiliated? Tell me did it make a difference to you when you were a teenager. I seem to remember not being a fan of being embarrassed when I was in school. Sure though go ahead and try and find any little reason to defend the guy.

I honestly haven’t watched it. I hope that it is genuine and definitely give the benefit of the doubt to this being a happy fam. I just cant get around how much I watch women laugh and smile at a man for 20 minutes and as soon as he gets up they let loose to me how creeped out they are.

At least the girls realized it was a joke....unlike the actual AutoZone worker that argued with me even with part numbers researched beforehand....that my 2001 Subaru Legacy GT did not have rear brakes at all....because his computer didn’t show any.

As father to an 11 year old daughter, eff this dude. I can understand teasing your daughter but humiliating them just to get clicks is b.s. like for real. I’m wondering if he even asked them if it was okay. I he probably did but they were too scared to say no. Anybody sticking up for this asshat is an asshat

I sorta share your stance, but there’s still an issue of the age of the targets. Even if it was a dad doing it to his sons, all else being equal, it would still be a bit cruel. It’s a fun joke to play on someone that should kinda know that it’s BS. It’s a bit less fun when you play the joke on someone who has no basis

What a true credit to humanity. With your progressive views and lady killer attitude, we might as well call you Rico Suave.

But a dad should not be bullying and making fun of his daughters. Especially not on the internet.

Like, what is he trying to say? My daughters are so dumb? If they don’t know enough about cars, why didn’t you teach them?

Him?

Also I was confused about how the boyfriend of the “stunning beauty” was “an uggo she dated for his personality”, did she send in the wrong picture?

As Dita Von Teese said “You can be the juiciest peach in the world and there’s still going to be someone who doesn’t fucking like peaches.”
