I am pretty sure a LOT of these people have flood insurance, as it mandated by state in a lot of areas.

Thank you! I am pretty sure the poor, mostly immigrant fishermen on the gulf Coast, or people of Houston, who time after time voted in a Democratic mayor, or the residents of my Fort Bend county (which voted blue in 2016) which had almost 20" of rain overnight, and had few tornadoes, did not personally for the people…
Whole $10. How cute.
My father had a dealership err to his benefit. The manufacturer had a programm of 4 years/0% (it WAS Mitsubishi Galant he was buying) but the financial department got a contract that gave him 5 years/0%.
You mentioned a SCOTUS case.
Which case is it? Asking seriously.
I haven’t felt anything, neither have my family.
“Anything that speaks of a society or civic duty and responsibility just smacks of Communism to them and they are vehemently against it.”
eShakti FTW, in fact I am wearing a dress from them right now.
Maidenform Dream Boyshorts. Comfortable, smooth - cannot see them under work pants, don’t roll, hold up pretty well in the wash. I have probably 25 of them. Sonetimes you can find them in Kohl’s for 3/$15.

If you are anywhere in the Houston area you’ll still have to have the inspection. ‘Cause we pollute too much.
As of last year (last 2 years?) the inspection is tied to the registration. You cannot register the car without going through the inspection in the 90 days prior to it.
Every inspection I’ve been through involved hooking the car up to the emission reader and then driving around the station to test the breaks, horn, lights and windshield wipers. Takes 10 minutes, costs $20.
Unfortunately for us in the Houston Metro the inspection would still remain - the area is the state’s biggest polluter and will be exempt from the law. Also, Texas inspection is really not that much of a burden. It costs $20 and takes 10 minutes once a year.
My dad had a silver 2003 V6 for 15 years. Got to almost 200,000 miles without serious issues, except parts had become impossible to find. He liked the power (came from 1997 Altima). And he got it a lot cheaper than an Accord, Camry or Altima would be, plus 5 years 0% interest (yes, he contributed to Mitsubishi…
Asshole gonna asshole. The sky is blue.
See, my mom is a colege-educated physicist, smart woman, and yet she believes in a lot of this. It’s so weird to me.
I unclog my liver every weekend with a bottle of non-organic wine.
They persuaded their bodyguard to buy lemonade, and then their driver, and then the maids, who “dug deep for their spare change.”
Southwest is not quiet free for all inside zones, you get a number in line inside the zone. So it having low/middle numbers in the Zone B, for example is still pretty good. With Southwest it really pays to be diligent with the 24 hours-pre flight check in.
