At 9 inches wide you should be able to run larger than that. I run 255/35/18 on my 18x8, still not a bad set up you have.

That S14 is Instagram famous, as I remember he replaced both the front and rear subframes twice in less than a year.
A car I’ll never see.. that’s right I don’t go to Cars and Coffee or any ALMS races. All I was questioning the need for the 6th lug.
Sorry wasn’t going to “look at your search history”.
The more you know! I didn’t know this so I had to look it up, what did I find.....
It’s not about the money it’s about options. There are far less 6 lug aftermarket wheels than 5 lug.
Sorry did’t realize you were die hard MOPAR.
Then why are the Hellcats 5 lug when they produce higher HP and TQ figures? Also 5 lugs seem fine for Corvette, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and the rest of the high performance world, the 6th lug is just extra weight. I think the main reason is Dodge was lazy.
Oh the irony...
I understand that but,...it’s a lazy carry over from old dodge truck parts. They used truck parts in the original Viper because they were “heavy duty”. Now they have the Hellcats, (more HP and TQ)which are 5 lug. So it’s obvious they have faith in the 5 lug hub, why not use that?
I believe they’ve been 6 lug for most Viper generations. Something to do with originally sharing parts with the Dodge trucks.
Does anyone know why they remain 6 lug? What is the practical benefit of a 6th lug on this car?
I’m glad I’m not the only one that dislikes this band. U2 goes around talking about saving the world and helping third world nations. For some reason no one sees how hypocritical they are: $23M Stage, $31M Stage, $700k a day tour, $100M from Apple, and moving the bands operation to the Netherlands for lower tax rates.…
I’d say it’s mostly true until the last decade or so, not sure how much I’d trust a CVT in the long run.
I agree, my comment should have specified 80/90’s Nissans and maybe an exception of the few performance models of the last 15 years. I hate that MPG is such a selling point that they use CVT’s now.
Only 2,700 of this trim/model were built? Wow that’s actually quite a lot. So my 98 240sx is one of less that 2,200 cars imported.....not trims/models but total imported. Does this make it more valuable? To me yes but to the market no. This a real CP.
Nope. Nissan is known for over building. The KA24DE that only made 150HP(ish) in the 240sx came with OEM forged crank and rods, I believe it’s the same for most of Nissan’s RWD engines. For whatever reason they do overkill. Crap they even made the D21 Hardbody a six lug hub on factory 14in wheels.
In line with today’s holiday.....
Have you seen the two wheel version?
I agree that could be a side effect but I’m sure they have a solutions for that. The new ATS uses turbos bolted directly to the head, so there must be solutions for this issue, direct injection perhaps?
