Balls Deep Exhaustion

It’s... ahem... Big Dick Energy.

...BDE?

Pertinent question: Best Buy Recycles?

I like to use it as well for any recipe that calls for adding broth. If you use bouillon cubes or the Better Than Bouillon stuff (like I do) then I like to stir it up in some extremely hot water before adding it to my recipe so I don’t cool down the stuff I’m cooking.  It dissolves better in hot water too.

Pan’s Labyrinth will remain one of my favorite films until the day I die.

Sure. How hard can it be to hire 48,000 new employees at once, and then train them to build cars?

That’s exactly how this reads. Not cool.

Exactly.

The headline could be better. My first thought after reading it was that this transgender person was made fun of in Chappelle’s special and later killed themselves- not that her and Chappelle were friends...

I’m astounded that people would leave any size of tip for someone who bungled an order lethally.

My standard tip is always around 20%, and I rarely leave less . . . but this weekend I left only 10% and part of me actually feels guilty about it. But part of me thinks it was justified.

What is it with chinese buffets? I didn’t leave a tip intentionally because the waitress didn’t actually do anything. I got all of my own food from the buffet and then she actually got mad at me. Now I won’t be going back at all.

I once left a single penny at a Chinese buffet. The server only had to get drinks and clear plates, but even flagging her down got a scowl or she’d actively ignore requests. She was openly hostile.

Story time: I once had a server who disappeared for AN HOUR after giving us our food. We couldn’t pay and eventually had to chase someone else down to give us our check. She finally came over to accept the payment. The restaurant was not busy and we actually found the server in the restroom talking on the phone.

Strongly agree with this article.

Ugh, that feeling of a grimy waterlogged band-aid
