@tyroneking: so what you are suggesting is to insure safety through ignorance? STFU.

@Z: invites from friends or good, kind hearted people like CheGordito. :)

oh, and let's not forget that the library has a great selection of audiobooks - so if you really want to listen to that Foundation series rather then read it, that's the way to do it... or the Harry Potter books you kids read nowadays :p

I like the feature... and some have done quite a great job in developing for it. (like a very nice DC taxi map that actually shows the zones).

hehe... moding the logo is the least of your concerns when doing this project. By step two your warranty is cooked.

damn you DogHead and your fast typing! ;)

also works in XP. probably my favorite way of browsing my HDs. You can add any folders there as well. I usually have one with 10-15 shortcuts to my favorite and most used programs / games. that way I don't have to navigate the start menu.

the greatest problem is that of choice. I don't really have any - I can chose between crappy DSL or be stuck with Comcast. And if I don't like Comcast - well, I can move. :(

"accidentally dropped his Blackberry in the toilet" —- YEAH, RIGHT!!! :D

@kfinlayson: reminds you? seems to be the same thing.

@Asvetic: In Orb's case, you can't share the login with someone else... or rather, you can share it, but once they log on, they will bounce you off and vice-versa. don't know about the rest.

I'm with Joshua on this - though 60 seems cheap.

Sorry, I have too:

god, I realized how old I am when, after getting excited about this, I went to the page and tried to figure it out... and gave up :(

not sure why any school would block gmail. As for work... I would change jobs is they ever got to the point when they block gmail. And if tey argue that they block it because of gtalk.. well, there are ways for IT to block gtalk without blocking gmail. just google it. :)

I'm too much o a comment hog to read sites like LH in g.Reader - I tried, doesn't work for me. But I have other feeds in there, and this posts might just save some time.

correction - the suggestion was by Simon.

not sure that someone with a low spec'ed lappy or box will run out today to get Vista. And if they do, well, they shouldn't complain about getting an OS that slows their computer considerably. Vista is not a must have, at least not at this time. Vista SP2 might be, but that will take years to arrive.

an easier, and saver way (not by much, but still) is to use the Firefox "Master Password" function. Just set it up, then you can save all your passwords. You log in once, at the beginning, then all your passwords are at your "fingertips."
