crap.

let me add two more Archival links

Awesome. Soon I won't have to leave my beach paradise, I'll do all my archival research from a long chair and a mojito.

if you speak a different language, then use a work+numbers from that language. Or try a local dialect / native language. If the Marines used Apache in WWII, why can't we use it now. Especially useful if your second language is not widely spoken. easy to remember, unlikely that it would fall to a dictionary attack.

How the heck does "Turn an old floppy into the starship Enterprise" translate to you into save time? - I mean, read the title, figure it out.

not sure how it would work for maps, and such, but for Word and Excel files, would not Google Docs be the easiest solution? You could set up a work account, upload the docs you work on, and everyone could share...

I think it would be easier, safer, and make more sense for anyone interested in digitizing docs to take digital pictures of their documents for storing on a HD or flash drive.

COSTCO!!! $5, nicely roasted, fresh and awesome. Who the heck has 5h to sit by the oven?. and heck, if you must have Star$, then by the Costco 3lbs bag for $20, still cheaper then at the local shop.

Oh, and by the way, last I looked, HP is offering laptops and desktops running Linux direct from factory. If you plan on running linux anyway, might as well get one of those. (choice... might also be the reason HP is taking market share away from Dell.. slowly, but their stock has been going up)

@tamar - using one WinOS license for multiple computers would be somewhat "shady." ;)

before they fix the link —

oh hell, yeah! I subscribe to Jeff's request for removing certain attachments without removing the e-mail! Google, get on it! :)

interesting. though I find specialized forums more useful.

We do so, however, only for our own internal business purposes and will not share

Front:

i still think the link is awesome. and its a lifehack because it can save a lot of time, giving you most of the info we crave when going to a weather site. IMHO :)

and what about privacy? anyone know?

I like Launch (launch.yahoo.com). I've used it for ages, and it now really knows that I want to hear. they have a free and a pay version available.

wait a second... there's no way I'm giving up my 5 blade, battery powered razor. Not until I get to the 10 blade, coffee making, cigar cutting razor of my dreams. Then I'll switch back to Low Tech. :))
