I think that's a consequence of going with the multiplayer approach this has taken. In Xenoblade certain camera changes and effects during chain attacks really helped add that extra oomph, but that doesn't seem to be present in this segment at the least.

From what we've seen in the previous videos there's a time limit for the mechs. It also looks like you can't use certain skills in them.

You win! I remember pouring hours into Pokemon White, but not like that!

Hmmm I think I've played Monster Hunter 3U for over 400 hours with 3DS and Wii U times combined...

It's not the same though. If I'm a journalist and I work for CNN or something and get fired, I have a set of skills that's still applicable to my job, and I can move onto another news site or even go freelance. That isn't the case here.

The difference being that as long as the job is in demand, you can go elsewhere and still make money with your skills. That doesn't seem to be the case here, when they loose their income they can't exactly hop next door and continue to make money with the skills they have.

Yeah, I was referring to people who solely rely on Youtube for their entire paycheck. Having some monotization on the side for whatever reason is fine, but when you're getting your entire salary from a service that you're technically not employed with, and has drastic changes in policy at random intervals... I can't

One part of me feels bad for those guys, but the on the other hand when you financially rely entirely on a platform that you no control or input in you're really putting all your eggs in a horribly woven basket.

I look forward to this bizarre but amusing tradition.

God dammit.

Oh man I always find that weird. Getting a notification from a comment I made months ago is always a weird thing, and it never helps that it's sometimes just a "lol"

I think it might have gone over a bit better if it hadnt been leaked. Reggie seemed really pissed that it had happened.

Well he is the guy who called Starcraft a turn based RPG, so his actual knowledge of videogames seems to be pretty dismal.

It's usually pretty easy. He's weak to fire, a very common type of magic in the game, and he can be "tipped" over by slashing at his shins enough. There's also a summon sign near him, so you're practically assured another person for him to target.

I think one of the Wii U's biggest problems is reflected in this game, no one really knows what to do with the gamepad. It's the most unique feature of the console and I've only seen a handful of titles make good use of it. In past generations Nintendo forged ahead and really showed us how to put their consoles unique

This always kills me. A generation is a measure of time and not power. I'm amazed that such simple definition has been twisted to mean something so different.

Well for starters you're probably going to die.

Relevant Awkward Zombie comic.

Not in his cell, but in the dungeon area connected to his cell.

I think it's leaning more towards reviews being controlled in a different way. Sony appears to be having a "review" event where journalists get to play the games to review them. This is important becuase it looks like the only place they can play the games before they get released to the public. So it's "come to our
