So... Since I'm not seeing an article on it, can we talk about what has some game reviewers, like Adam Sessler and Arthur Gies, in such a panic?

I don't think I've been this excited for a new Mario game since the original Galaxy. It just seems to have this fantastic charm to it that hasn't really been present in more recent Mario games. I still enjoyed them, especially 3D land, but this just seems to have that little bit that was missing.

So we're completely ignoring all other potential causes of negative body image? I mean, you can drone on video games all day, but when you never so much as bring up movies, magazines and television you're missing a huge part of the problem.

Streetpass has easily turned into my favourite feature for the 3DS. When I first got it I got about 1 streetpass a month and I just wrote it off as something I would never really use. But as time's gone on it's really transformed into a fun and engaging feature. Being able to easily exchange game info and play little

The differences are minor at best. They simply have a few different looking locations and pokemon exclusive to each version. It's to encourage playing with other people. It's certainly possible to get everything without a friend though trading online, so its not like you're screwed if no one you know plays it.

Aren't the gamepad features going to be available on 360 and Ps3 as well through Smart Glass? There might be other features only on the Wii U, but I don't think they could be worth an extra 20$.

And when pressed the reason will be that poor sales of their games on the console. So they make a half hearted port, which no one buys because there are other clearly superior versions. So Ubisoft will then point to those sales as reason to not release games and content on the systems. Which creates its own weird self

Nice, Pokemon comes out on Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, so there's some extra time to play it! Buuuut I have midterms immediately before and after it to deal with... Ugh...

One important thing to note is that it'll be compatible with future Pokemon games.

I'm not so sure... X/Y's shipment to retailers really doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinary as far as distributions go. The reason why they get sent out this early is because shipping can be a pain and it can take a while for copies of the game to get to certain places in the world. Since this is a global rele

I'm not saying anything against any such valid concerns. I'm only pointing out the general overreaction that people are having without giving any solid reasons.

Haha, yeah. I try to be cautiously optimistic about most things while retaining a healthy amount of skepticism. I know I came off a little on the crass side, but I really just wanted to make a point about people who are jumping to conclusions way too quickly.

Taking a skeptical look at things is seriously one of the best things you can do. We should always be asking questions and more importantly demanding more.

The old ways certainly have familiarity, but I just hate it that whenever something new comes along everyone just jumps the gun and start making massive assumptions. Risk is something that at times seems far too foreign in this industry and I'm glad there are still companies around to try it.

No.

A very poor decision.

Neat.

It wouldn't surprise me to see that come out closer to the release of A Link Between Worlds in november.

Oh god, I read your comment wrong. I thought you were asking if Link could change his expression in WWHD, not GTA.
