The problem isn’t that she’s wrong, or that people are trying to change her beliefs. They’re trying to convince her (via a SUPREME COURT mandated order) to do the job she was hired for and is funded via taxpayers’ money.

The judge should fine her in exactly the amount she is paid for her job. They should state that they are effectively withholding her paycheck because she isn’t doing her job. While the religious right is still going to use her as a martyr, that would make it harder for them to justify it.

Nobody has yet realized that, as has been the case through basically all of human history, YOU CAN’T CHANGE MORAL OPINIONS EASILY.
