Wow. Are you new on the internet? You’re not supposed to be nice and kind here. You’re supposed to say things like “this game sucks, therefore you all suck”.
I’ve never played AC and its not the kind of game that I’d be into but it’s super cool seeing people get so excited about this new one.
I’m playing the game of life and moving into a new house.
Thanks, I might do that.
The reviewer beat the game in 40 hours, not 100s of hours. And, this may surprise you, but there’s more than one type of gamer, and that’s why they make more than one type of game.
By the end of the game, I was a pretty furious whirlwind of death. I think it starts deliberate but really breaks open. This is Team Ninja, so they know how to make good combat. And for as much as I really love Sekiro, I actually like combat more in Nioh.
No, but I really think that’s what the various summon systems are for. Games like Dark Souls or Nioh don’t have toggles because they offer a lot of tools, I think, to mitigate difficult.
Heather beat the game in 40ish hours, so definitely not “100s of hours.” And there are a ton of shorter games to play. And, as far as I can tell, Animal Crossing will be much more of a time sink than most games. So that complaint goes right out the window.
If it doesn’t seem like you have options, it’s because you’re…
I played through multiple betas over the past year - and from my own limited experience I’ll say that it definitely feels like “Nioh 2- Nioh Harder”. It immediately felt like I was jumping right back into some unreleased expansion of the first one. If you loved the first game - and it’s among my top favorite games…
“Born to a human father and yokai mother, you travel the lands slaying monsters for a pittance.” Won’t you throw a coin to your yokai-hunter?
Come on DOOM Eternal, we're so close
Pretty excited for Nioh 2! Slightly expanded-upon gameplay that was already tight and awesome before, and a simplified and improved co-op experience. Just what the doctor ordered.
I feel even more vindicated pirating games
I started Ori and the Blind Forest via Game Pass on Saturday because I’m basically in a holding pattern until Animal Crossing comes out and I knew that if I didn’t find something to play I couldn’t be trusted to not go and buy Pokemon Mystery Dungeon.
They’re losing out on potential money. They basically want to get paid when players stream games they’ve already purchased. Should they get paid for that? Hell no. They were already paid when customers bought their games. But if they see an opportunity to make even more money, they’ll exploit it.
Sounds like streaming services. Odd how we’ll come full circle there and probably give in and pay for cable again
Im a Mac user who’s been using Nvidia to play pc games. All of these publishers pulling there titles are basically making it so there’s *no way* for me to play their game lol
Gonna need an Aperture Science Vomit Bucket for that.
Oh, I just had a mean thought. I half hope that Valve makes two sequels to this game, called Half-Life: Alyx Episode 1 and Half-Life: Alyx Episode 2, and ends the second one on a cliffhanger...
