This is the correct answer.

The number of companies who took the lift in sales during the pandemic/lockdown as “the new normal” and built revenue models expecting that it would go on like that forever is fucking embarrassing.  Peleton? You think that suddenly everyone who bought one of your overpriced exercise bikes is going to stop wanting to

Be honest, this entire list was simply about finding a reason to post about a $1000 piano tuning app.

Great, now if they would just put back the A-Z shortcut when scrolling through my subscribed subreddits, that would be AWESOME.

Of course it is, and I count myself in that camp.
That said, it’s really easy to think of a few key phrases to use as to not make a complimenter feel like their appreciation is a waste.

Am I the only person who literally, reflexively never clicks on Google ads at the tops of searches? Even if its clear it’s exactly what I want? I scroll the extra 3 inches and look at the regular results....

Maybe I’m just feeling vulnerable today, but I feel attacked...

What you’ve said is well thought out, rational, reasonable... Which are things that are generally not found within the psyche of many people who are dieting. You’ve really hit the nail on the head, you have to see it as a “forever” change and work through that. Which it’s clear that you did.

To me, this is the achilles heal of all “diets”. We go into them with the idea that they are effectively a “punishment” to be “endured”.
