The market is so hot right now. In a down or middling market, you could expect buyers to harrang you about repairs that need to be done, or ask for money back at closing, etc. Now, I’m seeing (IMO, not smart) people who are offering to forgo a home inspection, OR at least not make the results contingent, because

From the Contest rules:

This used to be simply “any payments go to the balance with the lowest APR”

I have a stupid question. Are people being asked to show these on the reg?

Doing this may lead to other fun projects like:

Why? Sure, yoga is good for you, but i’ve always questioned the idea of the “Acquired Taste”.

I’m not sure if anyone else out there is in the same boat as me, but I’ve got a pillow problem. I’ve read every article I can find telling me what pillow I’m supposed to need, and it never, ever works.

Really _really_ hoping this is something they are able to square away before the start of the next school year.

Google “Fatberg”

This is simply another instance of an area where for a long time, people were able to make money because there was limited competition, and because they took the time to understand what they were doing OR they had a certain expertise that made them more apt to be successful. THEN you’ve got people who hear about it

You can buy a property with as little as a 20% downpayment, allowing you to leverage other people’s money to get started.

Are you guys getting paid to shill for these “contests”,  where the main goal is for the company to collect personal information? It seems like these are posted like once a week now. I’d love for there to be someone who has actually won one of these things to step forward and talk about their experience.

Our stuff COULDN’T have been more simple.  We used this woman for a couple of years when we bought our house and had our first kid.  I’d done our taxes myself every year before then, and after she raised her rates each year (both years) after the first, I’ve done them myself ever since.

I didn’t “assume” anything. I read the article. Have you actually tried to make sense of how an “exemption” affects your withholdings? It’s not really a simple thing. I’m POO POO’ing the entire concept.

This old trope? Every year they trot it out. “You’re givin uncle sam an interest free loan!”

silly question, will all these games be playable on PS5 as well?

Solid article (pun, intended).
