Are you guys getting paid to shill for these “contests”,  where the main goal is for the company to collect personal information? It seems like these are posted like once a week now. I’d love for there to be someone who has actually won one of these things to step forward and talk about their experience.

Our stuff COULDN’T have been more simple.  We used this woman for a couple of years when we bought our house and had our first kid.  I’d done our taxes myself every year before then, and after she raised her rates each year (both years) after the first, I’ve done them myself ever since.

I didn’t “assume” anything. I read the article. Have you actually tried to make sense of how an “exemption” affects your withholdings? It’s not really a simple thing. I’m POO POO’ing the entire concept.

This old trope? Every year they trot it out. “You’re givin uncle sam an interest free loan!”

silly question, will all these games be playable on PS5 as well?

As I always like to remind people. If you’re using a “free ad supported” app, and/or an app that captures basically any data, you aren’t the customer, you are the product.

Before I say this, I would like to state that I revile the companies who pull the “we’re going subscription model!” move. I hate them. I do my best to avoid doing business with them. That said, they aren’t going away any time soon.

Solid article (pun, intended).

As you get older, self-confidence increases, peaks at age 60, and then begins to decline.

For what these things cost, I want a butler to come to my house and fix them for me.

That’s not how i thought this guy was going to look...

I would like to take this opportunity, again, to thank Apple for sending out frequent security updates, as well as making it completely impossible to update my Apple Series 3 watch without starting from scratch and resetting the entire thing.

How it’s made? There’s a marathon of it every Sunday on one channel.

Seven word Article:

Carter... The idea of lounging on a couch while facing the POTUS whilst he sits behind his oval office desk seems like, just.... wrong, it’s wrong...

3, sir...

How about an article for the people who are choosing not to send their kids back to school? How to deal with seeing their classmates on video, together. Understanding that they personally haven’t done anything wrong, and aren’t being punished to stay home.

This is lovely.  I wish everyone thought this way.  Everyone is SO over the “we’re all in this together” vibe right now.
