Dyson: We’ll Over-Engineer Everything And Charge You Out The Nose For It

So customer name (big deal), private IP address (big deal), mobile network carrier (??? Are a lot of people using hotspots for connectivity?), persistent identifiers (basically location of the device and manufacturing/version info), and sensor data (light levers, heat, ambient temperature).

You should see what your

“Ring for Android version 3.21.1 delivers a range of personal information...”

Exactly what information is being sent? Gizmodo has a history of Ring bashing...would like to know how serious this is.

The problem with ALL religions is they’re based on explaining observations on the mind’s creations instead of physical evidence. As ancient people had no concept of the actual composition of the universe (planets are other worlds, stars are suns, the vastness of space, etc), they had no concept of the possibility of

New feature updates are completely different than “won’t work”...they totally tried to scare-tactic people into new sales and it backfired.

Kinda had the same experience. I was feeling sick so stayed home from school, and my friend pretended to be sick, then talked me into going out and having fun. Against my better judgement, we took my dad’s 1961 Ferrari 250 GT and drove all over Chicago. We explored the city, including the Art Institute of Chicago,

As a frequent Michigan driver, I stand by my statement.

Rule of thumb- people tend to drive 10mph over the speed limit. 80MPH is pushing it for a lot of driver’s abilities to react. 85MPH....yeesh.

Back not too long ago a lot of cars had speedometers that only went up to 85mph :)

I owned one of these!

It was a great vehicle and got me through a lot of winters, but...honestly...there’s not a lot special about it today. The XDrive in my BMW seems like it can plow through snow and mud just as well as that thing could, and it has Bluetooth :D

Remember when Clark Griswold tried that?

Damn it...I wanted to post that :(

The obvious answer to this would have been to open up the platform and allow app development to the public.

However, the design of the robot was a little limited...

Nobody I know cares if police are accessing outdoor video of our homes. In fact...they’re welcome to it.

No, it is not. They’re insinuating ALL users of these products are under attack and demand they take it seriously. The truth of the matter is the things these bloggers are ringing alarm bells about don’t actually affect most people in the slightest.

I had issues with that too...he sounds whiny and reminds me of Farkus from Christmas Story.

I have not felt a single consequence to that in the 15 years I’ve been using cloud-based services, so this leads me to conclude the data they’re collecting on me is not important in the least bit. I have, however, reaped numerous benefits that have enhanced my life.

I’m still hanging out with Pixel phones for that exact reason: Samsung’s custom software and modifications are a hindrance instead of a benefit. Why do they feel the need to make their menus/screens look different than standard Android, making them a pain to support? Bixby sucks and they don’t have the search

I know, right? Been using one for years, as have my neighbors and family. Nobody has had any of the mentioned issues. Not one. Passwords are secure, benefits are great, and it’s a well made product.

I can hear the conspiracy theories on Facebook and Twitter now...

The plot doesn't start until a few hours into the game. They want you to master your skills before using them. When you meet the Baron things start getting good...
