BUCKET LIST
I loved this show.
Yeah, the show was never about the afterlife. It was always about this life.
There will be as much more of it as we want; we can watch it again. Whenever we're ready.
Yeah, I think they slotted Michael into the universe as a fully grown man. Partially, I guess, because he wanted to live on earth with the knowledge he had, and inserting that into a helpless baby body would be some kind of torture.
Apparently we have different “most memorable” jokes, my apologies :)
Jason brought you to tears? Jason? This is a real low point. Yeah, this one hurts.
Not-a-Doctor.
I cried the most when Chidi left. Of all the poignant, moving elements to this episode, the one that hit me the hardest was the idea that, even when you’ve found the person you want to be with eternally, eventually you could choose to say goodbye. I can’t decide if that notion is at odds with the show’s constant…
It’s more like reaching enlightenment in the Buddhist sense. I found it rather lovely they all reached a sense of completeness and contentment.
I’ll go to my grave believing it was Ron.
I am sad that this show is over, but happy that it ended. Does that make sense?
I can’t remember the line fully, so apologies to the writing staff if I misinterpreted, but did Tahani imply that one her Godfathers was the clock Big Ben?
“Millions long for immortality who don’t know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.”
The Good Place writing crew were right. People really hate moral philosophy professors
Man, the last time sex fell out of me, I had to go to the ER.
dp4m, you say:
Well one of their favorite songs and all -
God how I have always hated the character Dwight Schrute. Please don’t ruin “The Good Place” like this
Kamala Harris tweeted Maya Rudolph Saturday night and said “The girl who Maya Rudolph played on SNL? That girl was me.” And it made me chuckle. I’m glad she has a sense of humor (or her social media team does) about SNL picking the weirdest thing and highlighting it 1000%.
