I’m really glad that they got that third season because that second season finale was amazingly tragic while seemingly giving Devi everything she wanted.

I like Samantha Bee and I liked her show a lot. I’m just here to see how many people feel the need to comment that she was just shrill and not funny as a way to justify the fact that they didn’t like the things that she had to say (and/or that she is a woman). 

Peacock. And she can run back to back with Amber Ruffin.

This is a legit surprise, given that the show isn’t expensive and all.

My general rule of thumb when it comes to lawsuits being pressed against massive corporations by individuals that sound ridiculous on the face of it is that, nine times out of ten, there’s details that are going unreported that make the whole thing entirely reasonable.

It’s really a shame how TV recaps/reviews have all but vanished from the AV Club. Some of the better ones made for reading that was almost as entertaining as the shows themselves.

Nice of you to post this when this site basically ignored this seasons existence. You didn’t review it or provide any but the barest of mentions. And AV wasn’t alone. It was ignored by most of the entertainment press and got less than half the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes that the first season got. One of the best shows…

This has always been the case. It is their job to investigate you and make sure that you aren’t actually going to burn anything down.

I hope she wins lots of money and moves her family out of that town.

Look, Lena Dunham has many personality traits to make her unlikable, but at her best, she can write some compelling stuff.

It’s strange to consider a verdict which confirms Cosby sexually assaulted a minor as any sort of victory. However, the part they seem to celebrate concerns the punitive damages, which if awarded would have deemed Cosby acted with “malice, oppression, or fraud”

And as usual Republicans are foisting more and more laws legalizing hatred against women. Trust them to make things even worse.

In the version with dogs, every incoming email would be met with an endless barrage of responses, all saying, “Hi!” It would continue like that until either the server crashed or someone unplugged the dog’s keyboard.

Then you are stupid. There is literally nothing the Democrats could’ve done that wouldn’t have resulted in this as it is not about actual Constitutionality, but about the religious beliefs of these 5 justices. Any law would’ve been overturned.  This has been the plan.

Yeah well, but she looks eeriely similar to AOC and that is not an innocent choice at all. I agree that is cheapens the whole season and I hate it too.
