I don’t understand the desire to have a huge party to celebrate high school graduation. This has baffled me for years, and in COVID times, it’s even more ridiculous. The only situation I can imagine where a high school graduation party might be warranted is if a young person had to overcome some huge, unusual

It’s Disney +. Perhaps the + is fucks.

Is that the rule? One fuck in a PG-13 movie? Or is that what people say is the rule and no one knows? I though the MPA(A) was arbitrary and capricious? Have they changed since that doc about them?

I blame Tipper Gore.

I’m still hopeful that, post-pandemic, there will be some theatrical screenings for the fans, and hopefully an eventual home video release with extras. The icing on the cake will be if these are presented as an unedited/unrated feature so we can all give all the fucks we have.

I tapped out after 3 eps the first time around as well, but it really helps to go back and revisit the original comic/movie. When I watched the series the first time, I didn’t have a clue what was happening. But when I decided to give it another shot I made sure to revisit and even the first episode made much more

It’s been a long time since I lived in an apartment but when I did we were always forced to get our own internet including equipment.  I can’t imaging having to share the same route with an entire complex.  Must suck.

Keep at it! The Jeremy Irons stuff will start to make a lot more sense by episode 5. The same as the Angela/Will stuff, which will pay off by 6.

They have also been discovering how comfortable they are with him, if they weren’t already there. They may not want to be called out on it, but they really don’t have a problem with sending the army in to cities with no quarter orders, watching hundreds of thousands of Americans die, or having 50 million Americans go

Keeping it narrow was definitely strategic. The entire Trump defense against anything is a firehose attached to a tank full of liquid bullshit. When you refute or prosecute A, out comes B. Then you knock down B and along come C and D. And then the taps open up for E, F, G, H, I, and J, while K, L M, N, and O spray out

Are you kidding?  They’ll think he was cheated and go on and on about voter fraud. Then they will surround the white house 10,000 strong armed to the teeth and insist he ain’t leaving. It’s going to be a nightmare.

Even setting aside the fact that he should have talked earlier, when it could have mattered, the main problem with this guy is that he stayed there for 17 months. So at best, everything he describes he aided and abetted, and more probably he’s simply complicit and therefore guilty.

Everyone knows Finland isnt part of russia- because finland doesnt exist. It’s a hoax!

Also, maybe I’m giving Pelosi too much credit but I thought it could be strategic that she kept the impeachment inquiry focus narrow. She knew full well she was facing minuscule odds of the Republican Senate convicting no matter how overwhelming the evidence. I suspect she withheld some potential charges in the

Trump Supporter #1: “Everyone who has every worked with him says that he’s really dumb. Do you think he’s dumb?”

They still would have acquitted him in the Senate. That’s how afraid of Trump’s base and being primaried Senate Republicans are. They don’t cave to Trump. They cave to his crazy ass base.

I guess the takeaway is high-level confirmation of things we already knew? Nothing groundbreaking here in the AV Club book report on the NYT’s book report.

There is nothing really new here beyond the Ivanka thing maybe. Seems he could have saved a bunch of time, ink, and paper, just by saying “it’s all true.”

Bolton also criticized House Democrats for focusing so much on Ukraine during their impeachment inquiry when they could also have looked into Trump’s willingness to intervene in the investigations of companies like Turkey’s Halkbank and China’s ZTE.

We wouldn’t want James Comey influencing a presidential election, amiright?
