Yeah I understand the distinction, and the KKK thing makes sense...somewhat. I get that robbing a bank carries a sentence, and robbing a bank while armed carries a greater sentence. To me that follows a easy logic train of More Danger = Greater Punishment. But a mask/hood? It feels...odd. Is it even enforced any

The wearing of pants only encourages people to leave the house. And I'd wager that people commit the majority of crimes outside their domicile. Therefore, by making the wearing of pants illegal, crime should drop dramatically. And, since it's probably illegal to walk around a public place without pants, any person

The law this is based on is a real headscratcher. It's illegal to commit a crime while wearing a hood...so does that mean it's legal to commit a crime sans hood? Wouldn't that person still be committing a crime, regardless of the covered nature of their head? If I rob a bank on Monday with no hood, and then on

I actually kind of enjoyed "I, Frankenstein". I was expecting the worst from all the negative press it got. When I finally sat down to watch it I found myself being entertained, despite my expectations. I have no problem liking a cheesy B-flick, and this one fit the bill.

I'm all for creative Fan Fiction, but I'm curious if this violates any copyright/public image laws. Since she's selling it, I hope that she doesn't invoke the wrath of the NFL's army of lawyers. Does anyone know what the legal wranglings are of using a person like Gronk in fan fiction?

"Scarab". Would work for any type of vehicle.

Given the advance in processing power, I've always wondered why Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft/Sega/Whoever haven't found a way to slap the old consoles on a PCIe card, i.e. actual hardware emulation, and then sell the games for those specific cards. Like, maybe you could buy a Dreamcast PCIe card, stick it in, then for $5

Oh I agree completely. Uematsu, like Mitsuda, was a master of creating Wagnerian leitmotifs, especially those used in FFIV and FFVI. Both of those soundtracks are imminently hummable thanks to the very distinctive and recognizable themes used throughout. FFVII and onward Uematsu ventured more into soundscapes

Uematsu usually gets all the accolades (as he should), but I've always felt that Mitsuda's work was always equal to, if not exceeds, Uematsu's on a case by case basis. The themes Mitsuda created for the Chrono series and Xenogears are mind-bogglingly awesome.

For some odd reason I've always found that invoking Lewis Carroll in dirty talk is either a Grand Slam or an instant strike-out.

Awe sunova... I totally knew. Not only did I know it, but I've corrected other people at various times for using two 'L's. My head, it hangs in shame!

Actually...

Actually...

Totally agree. And, if Ken Levine was still at Irrational, I would totally support a "re-imagining" that let it fit snug in to the Bioshock Infinite revelations. Call it Bioshock System 01 or something, plug a scary-ass SHODAN in there, and make us all crap our pantaloons all over again.

Fixed that headline for you.

"Falcon Nest this is Deep Diver 1, requesting permission to execute Operation Freedom Hole."

Oh sweet Jeebus please let this mean that there is a new Space Quest somewhere on the horizon!

I wish only for a collection of probably the finest games ever made: Contra, Super C, Contra III, and Contra IV. Give me some hi-def Spread Beam, pretty please, along with a killer re-mastered epic heavy metal soundtrack. Don't forget the Konami Code!

At least he'll be spending the rest of his time in a State Erectional Facility.
